Game Changer
This mobile base has made moving my table saw around a dream. I share my tool space with my home gym, so I need to "park" my table saw when not in use. I was previously using a pair of side-mounted casters, which, although better than nothing, was a total pain to move and maneuver, making me not want to pull the saw out unless I had to. Having the entire unit on wheels has been a game changer. It is solid, and easy to adjust. Once the cams are released to lower the base off the front wheels, it is very sturdy. The instructions weren't the most thorough, but I suspect that anybody who's putting wheels on their large power tools will do just fine. Having all 4 wheel swivel would increase the maneuverability, as the two fixed wheels sometimes require an extra push/pull to get my saw exactly where I want it—not a huge deal. My saw is relatively light, at only ~100 lbs, and the cams lift it without any problem. But they are only aluminum, and look like they could be a potential weak spot. There is no intermediary surface for the cam to ride on, so it's metal on metal (well, aluminum on paint, until it wears away after the first couple lifts). So not sure how long this would stand up to repeated daily use. It's not an issue for me. Overall, a great product, at a good price.

Good product. Assembly instructions a bit unclear.
Nice sturdy product. Put on my Craftsman table saw stand (29x29). Works just fine. Instructions are a bit vague, but the pictures helped to figure it out. Tip: assemble the frame 1" larger than the outside measurement of your stand. There are 24 small screws and nuts. Use them all! Four at each corner and two where the rails meet on all four sides. I recommend positioning the lift levers so they are facing inside/center when in lift mode so they are out of the way when moving the base. You'll need a level to set the two rubber feet at the correct height. It is not clear how you would assemble the unit to make 48 x 17 but I suspect you would use two long rails on the 17in ends and use the other six rails (2 long, 4 short) to get to 48in.

Good basic mobile base. Mine has swivel issues
Pros: Good basic mobile base. Swivel casters can be attached to trail the base or as "outriggers". Actuator arms (that lift the base onto the casters) can be reversed so that the arms are out of the way. Easy to use. Easy to assemble. Cons: Hopefully they aren't all like this, but my casters don't swivel well, they tend to "skid". I bought this base to make my table saw more mobile (Ryobi BT3100). It does just that, but I've found that the swivels need to be nudged to change direction. Maybe I shouldn't have attached them to "trail" the base, perhaps they would swivel better in the "outrigger" position. The swivels looks identical to the ones on the base under my jointer, which is the HTC2000 model, but it's wheels are in the "outrigger" position. In anycase, when I move the stand and need to turn the base, the swivels don't properly swivel, they skid sideways until I use my toe to push them into the right direction. Since my shop is not my garage and I'm just a hobbiest that wants to shove the saw out of the way when not in use, this base is fine even with the troublesome swivels. They seems to stick only on sharp turns, or reversing direction (pushing forward, then back). Most people don't move their table saws around and would probably use this base for jointers, planers and other tools that you might push out to the driveway so that the sawdust is easier to deal with. Or maybe your shop is small and you need to move stuff around alot. If you don't move stuff around alot, this is a good stand. If your "shop day" consists of swapping machines back and forth to the working area, then the swivels might get annoying. Assembly is pretty easy. More pictures would have helped out the 2 page instructions, but seriously, if you are the type of person that is buying a mobile tool base, then you are probably the type of person that can build the stand with just the written instructions. Make sure you have a helper to pick your machine up onto the stand. I somehow wrestled my table saw up on the stand, but the Ryobi BT3100 is not a very heavy saw, relatively speaking. The instructions suggest that you can build the base around your tool if you don't have a helper (though you'd have to chock the too up on 2x4s). I would have given this 5 stars if the swivels worked better and I might just try and switch them to stick out the sides of the base instead of behind the base. (I can't really see how this would help) I'll update this review if it helps. This is my only complaint. Nice base otherwise.

Very sturdy for Ryobi table saw
This was pretty easy to assemble (if you follow the directions). The directions could be better since there are no illustrations of the particular screws, nuts, etc. only part #s. And one of the holes for the leveling feet was too small so I had to make it bigger to screw the foot in. Other than that, I really like it. It's sturdy, and makes moving our Ryobi RTS12 table saw from it's parking place in the garage an easy task. It works perfectly. So happy to have this!

Should have read the reviews!
I have been using the BORA PM-1100 to make my router table portable. The PM 1100 has steel foot pedals to raise the load and it worked so well that when I needed a lift for a storage cabinet I felt confident in purchasing the PM-1000. Fully loaded, the cabinet weighs about 250 pounds, well below the advertised load capability of the PM-1000. Unfortunately it is impossible to raise this base by rotating the aluminum levers that this base uses. As many other reviewers have mentioned, there is way too much friction between the cam and the caster plate. The only way I can lower the wheels is by using a crow bar to lift the base and then engage the aluminum cam lever to hold the wheels in the down position. Once the wheels are lowered and locked with the cam it is reasonably easy to move the cabinet around. Not how I envisioned using this base!

Perfect For The HF 40# Sand Blast Cabinet.
I've had a harbor freight blaster for 12 years and for most of its life, it sat in a corner. I decided to move stuff around and wanted it to be mobile. I made a base before, but it wasn't great. Saw this Bora base and ironically, had a chunk of 13 ply plywood that was cut perfect to fit. This combined with that piece of ply now makes my blaster roll easily as well keeps the small Ridgid vacuum and bucket with dustopper pro underneath perfectly. This right here was money well spent. My only gripe is the fasteners aren't exactly great quality and would have been nice to have 1 extra included. I snapped one head right off. No big deal though.

Takes a little time to assemble as I have bought two. Does a great job for manoeuvring my bandsaw and tablesaw around the workshop, freeing up space

For the price these things are a great value. Easy to adjust to whatever base you need and put together. It moves fairly well, has some issues on my terrible basement concrete floor but anything would in the bad spots. On flat areas it can move very smoothly and easily, and is build nice and solid.

Strong and reliable. I am putting my washer on it and it holds it place like rock (with full load). Very easy to assemble (less than 30 mins). Wheels make it easy for you to move your heavy loads.

I was so tired of man handling our job mate bench that has our compound mitre saw attached, to move. When I saw this rolling base I was excited. I must say I was disappointed in the instructions for the assembly, hence the low scoring. It is nice to have a list of the parts, showing the counts of the items, the names and the sizes of the bolts, these did not. These instructions were very vague and frankly hard to follow. It wasn't until I went on YouTube to watch a video that it all seemed to make better sense. I must say I like how the base is very adjustable to almost any size. The wheels roll nicely and it is very sturdy. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it for sure.
