Great rower!!
**Updated to 5 stars** After using the rower a few times since I've gotten it, having it stand upright after I'm done using it is not a big deal at all. It is extremely easy to sit down and stand back up with little effort. Highly recommend this rower for anyone looking to buy a less expensive option. I have always wanted a rowing machine but wasn't wanting to spend a lot of money on a specific brand that's connected to iFIT. The instructions were not the best and when you assemble the guide bars, it's best to put the back foot assembly in between the screws. I ended up needing to unscrew one side just so that I could get that one part in place, which was a bit frustrating. A few things to note: - I was confused as to why the screws and bottom stoppers needed to be removed from the guide bars temporarily - this is so the seat can be put in place. The screws and bottom stoppers keep the seat from sliding all the way off. - The holder is for a device that does not have a thick case on it. I have an iPad with a case on it, and it does stay put on the holder - however, it's not entirely secure. I was concerned that it would fall off while I was working out, but it didn't. - This does not run off of power, as there are batteries included that are for the display. - You can lift the back of the rower to stand it upright, but this was not what I had expected, as I figured it would fold up. Not that big of a deal, as it can still be upright when not in use but wanted to call this out in case it is a big deal to someone else. Now that the rower is assembled and I was able to do my first rowing workout (ever), I do feel as if this is a great option to consider if you are looking to get one. I have the iFIT app on my iPad, which I placed on the holder and adjusted the resistance when I saw it changed on the iFIT workout. With not needing to connect it to power, this makes it more flexible with where I end up putting it, as it doesn't need to be next to an outlet. This also helps me out for when we lose power and are running off of a generator. I can still use this rowing machine to get a great workout in, without the worry of throwing a breaker due to too much power being used. I can't provide comparisons to the noise level, as I've not used other rowing machines before. It seems quiet enough to me though.

I highly recommend this Rowing Machine!
I looooove the quality of this rowing machine.. Every part came neatly packed and well organized. I did have an issue with a part that had to be replaced, so I contacted customer support, and their support system is phenomenal! They went above and beyond to resolve it! And it got fixed promptly, by replacing the entire machine free of charge. And for this I will always be grateful. It was very easy to put together, and it only took me roughly about 45 minutes to assemble. When done it was a very smooth setup..And so far Iโm loving it because it gets the job done. It touches on every range of motion and targets every muscle group. It beats going to a crowded gym, when I can use it in the comfort of my home at my own convenience. It is now added as part of my โAt homeโ gym collection. It is very easy to store and doesnโt take up much space, and for the value of it, it is well worth the price. I use this everyday to complete my goals! BUY IT!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! ๐๐๐

Great machine for the money
Simple and easy to use. It took a while to assemble (about an hour) but it wasn't difficult with the tools provided. It's not fancy, it doesn't have an electronic display screen, just a simple digital counter similar to a clock that runs on a couple of batteries to track time, distance, etc. It does not require you to use an app or even have to be turned on. You just sit down and start pulling the handle. The seat glides easily, and is pretty quiet. I can hear it from the other room, but it's like a quiet fan noise. Not bothersome at all. My son is 5'10" and there is plenty of room on the track for him to use it even if he grows a few more inches. It's heavy enough to be stable and sturdy, but still light enough to move it around as needed. The heaviest person in our house is about 250 lbs and it handles their weight with ease, still moving smoothly. If you are looking for a good, simple, functional workout machine, without a lot of bells and whistles, that won't break the bank you can't go wrong with this one.

Quiet, smooth, good bargain
Nice little machine! I put it together by myself in about a half an hour. It's mechanisms are smooth and quiet, and it does feel very portable--doesn't take up much space. In fact, the picture is a bit deceptive--it's smaller than shown. I struggle a little with the foot straps, because the velcro is so long that the straps don't slide very well when I try to tighten them--I really have to scrunch up to get the right angle on it. The counter screen is a little cheesy too, but it works alright for my purposes--I haven't tried to "program" it. A great bargain for the price, I think.

โญโญโญโญโญ Excellent Rowing Machine โ Easy to Assemble, Quiet, and an Amazing Full-Body Workout!
I am extremely impressed with this rowing machine. After researching several different models, I decided to give this one a try, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers a smooth, quiet workout, feels very solid, and provides incredible value for the price. One of the biggest surprises was how easy it was to put together. The instructions were clear and well-organized, all of the parts were labeled, and the hardware was packaged in a way that made assembly simple and straightforward. I was able to have it fully assembled in a relatively short amount of time using the included tools, without any frustration or confusion. Even someone with very little experience assembling fitness equipment should have no problem putting this machine together. Once assembled, the rowing machine feels incredibly sturdy. The 350-pound weight capacity gives it a very solid, stable feel with no wobbling or flexing during workouts. Every stroke feels smooth and controlled, making it easy to focus on proper rowing technique. One of my favorite features is the 16 levels of magnetic resistance. Whether you're just starting a fitness routine or looking for a more challenging workout, there's a resistance level that fits your needs. I like being able to increase the resistance as my fitness improves, making each workout progressively more challenging. The magnetic resistance system is remarkably quiet. Instead of hearing loud mechanical noises, all you hear is the smooth motion of the seat gliding along the rail. I can exercise early in the morning or later in the evening without disturbing anyone else in the house, which is a huge advantage. The rowing motion itself feels natural and fluid. The seat glides effortlessly, the handle provides a comfortable grip, and the footrests keep my feet securely in place throughout the workout. After just a few sessions, I could already feel that rowing provides an excellent full-body workout, engaging my legs, back, core, shoulders, and arms all at the same time while also delivering great cardiovascular exercise. I also appreciate that it doesn't require a lot of space. When I'm finished exercising, it stores neatly, making it a great choice for anyone with a home gym or limited workout area. The overall build quality is excellent, and everything feels durable and well-made. For the price, this rowing machine offers exceptional value. It combines quiet operation, adjustable resistance, sturdy construction, and easy assembly into one complete package. It has become one of my favorite pieces of home fitness equipment, and I actually look forward to using it several times a week. If you're looking for an affordable, high-quality rowing machine that's easy to assemble, provides a smooth and challenging workout, and is quiet enough for home use, I highly recommend this model. It has been a fantastic addition to my home gym, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Great Product, Even Greater Customer Service
This is a 2 part review--product and customer service. Ordered the rower while on Black Friday sale. Always wanted a high dollar rower, but decided with my bad shoulders to "try" a less expensive rower. Bought this as a "test" as much for me (how much could my beat up shoulders stand) and how much stress would I put on a lower dollar, less complex rower. This little "cheap" rower is great. It is easy to put together, it is light weight so easy to move/store, AND best of all it gives me just as good a workout as the "Concept 2" rower I have used at my gym. I have not pushed this rower up to its "max" resistance for more than a few seconds just to test it... I work out on it with the resistance set on 5-9, depending on the day. I am 6 feet tall, weigh 190, it is plenty long for me, the seat fits me good, slides very easily on the rails there is no problem getting a great workout on this machine. I honestly wish I had not waited so long to buy it.... If I ever wear it out, I will buy the same one again. Customer Service--I was letting my 2.5 year old granddaughter row on it, had the resistance set at zero, she really thought she was "working out" with "pops". Then she decided that she was bored and she released the rower handle from about 8-10 inches from its cradle, and BAM, the handle hit the rowers monitor screen. This is NOT a huge TV or tablet size monitor screen, just a 3x3 inch battery powered screen. Well crap.....I had 3 big crack lines running across the screen, it was still working, BUT it was hard to see the numbers based on where the cracks were. I went to the vendors home site, got the email address and sent them an email asking if I could get/order another monitor. I got a reply the next day asking for my original order number, address and a photo of the cracked screen. I "replied" with that requested info--- and attached a pic of the cracked screen and I OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE NEW MONITOR, or at least pay for the shipping. Nope, they sent me a new monitor free, (again this was in no way their fault....) and they even paid for the postage. From the first email I sent until the new, free monitor arrived was less than a week! This is above and beyond customer service, no one ever offers to fix an issue for FREE! If you are looking for a good workout using a good rower, that the company will stand behind, you really should consider this one! Thanks guys for standing behind your product, even when you did not have to!

Smaller in real world , works but will need to upgrade - spend more for better 1st time.
I bought to start my row exercises. The photo is deceptive as the product that arrived is much smaller in scale than advertised. With that out of the way, it's a simple rower - perfect for entry level. It's basic and only allows resistance adjustment and not much anything else. I use it daily but will upgrade once I figure out the mechanics of how I row and what other models would be best. I have it set up with a TV mounted at eye level in front. It's in my gym and tv is dedicated to the rowing machine.

Very satisfied, highly recommend
Highly recommend. Doesnt break the bank. Easy to assemble. It doesnt take up a lot of space and you can stand it up right so it doesnt take space when not in use and you can easily move it around using the wheels. Rowing is a full body workout which is great for burning calories.

A Solid Rowing Machine Thatโs Worth the Effort ๐๏ธ
This set comes with the rowing machine, a set of assembly screws, four AAA batteries, and a multilingual instruction manual ๐. This rowing machine feels super solid when youโre using it, and the foldable design is a total gem for saving space when youโre done. It even has wheels for moving it around, though youโll want to be careful to avoid scratches. The electronic display and phone holder are a bit basicโplastic material and exposed circuit boards make them feel less premium. Plus, the phone holder sticks out, so watch out to avoid bumping it into walls or furniture ๐ ๏ธ. Assembly isnโt exactly a walk in the park, but itโs not rocket science eitherโI spent over an hour putting it together and testing it out. Some metal parts have sharp edges, so handle them gently to avoid scratching your floor. Follow the multilingual instruction manual step-by-step, and you should be fine, just take your time ๐ . Once itโs set up, this machine is sturdy and great for a full-body workout. Itโs easy to store upright, and the wheels make moving it manageable if youโre cautious. Itโs a reliable choice for home fitness, especially if youโre looking for something compact yet effective ๐ช. Definitely recommend ๐.

A compact rowing machine
Iโm really happy with this rowing machine. It was fairly easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow. I really appreciate that it came with all the tools needed to put it together. Itโs quite compact and light for a rowing machine and is very easy to move around. It has a spot to rest your phone or tablet upfront, so you can watch or read something while working out. The seat is fairly comfortable to sit on and it works smoothly. It has a little digital screen that shows you your stats. Iโm really happy with this machine.

Perfect starter workout machine
This is a decent starter machine for anyone considering a home gym. Assembly is quick and tools are provided if you don't own a toolkit. Quite lightweight (around 17-18 Kg) for a rowing machine which allows ease when assembling without help and moving with the wheels at the front. The build is strong enough for normal use around the house. Its less sturdy than the professional grade machines at my work / neighbourhood gyms but bang for the buck at this price. If I nitpick, the seat could be more comfortable and the foot straps can be more durable but these are minor annoyances compared to the price. Tension is good for starters and okay for general use. Much less than what I get on Technogym / Matrix rowers at gym but still good for home use. The rowing is smooth and the small display provides enough information. What I loved was the iPad mount to keep myself entertained / motivated while use. I do miss this feature on professional grade gym machines. Partner and kids are thrilled to use this rower and I would recommend this more as first machine for home gym instead of treadmill which occupies more space and difficult to move.

Pretty impressed
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this is a nice entry level magnetic rowing machine. As someone who has never had one, it's just a nice machine in general. It is well made. The tracker screen is only LCD but it works. I would have expected something a little more modern on something like this. It does take a bit of assembly but it folds up quite well when not in use. It's not something I thought I would really use but has become part of my regular work out, and it IS a workout. I'm pretty impressed. 4/5

Smooth and almost silent
The instructions on how to assemble this are well written with clear step by step diagrams. It's great that all the tools required for assembly were provided and all bolts and other pieces were labelled. One person can put this together on their own quite easily. The rowing action is very smooth and quiet, and this is now my favourite exercise equipment as it almost feels relaxing rowing in front of the TV. I just wish the resistance could be increased beyond the current maximum to get a tougher workout. My teenage daughters like the resistance levels though. The quality is great and it's fairly easy to move around as it has small wheels at one end that allow you to push it around without scratching the floor. Highly recommend it.
