I recently used the 3M Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive for a windshield replacement on my car, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The medium viscosity made it easy to apply, and the adhesive set quickly, allowing me to get the job done without delays. It created a strong, durable bond that holds up well under varying weather conditions.

Repaired the rear window in my convertible after the factory glue failed and it fell out. Let me tell you...wear gloves folks. I thought it would be a quick bead of glue and on my way, but instead I had a fun fiasco of contortion trying to reach my window and squeeze this stuff out while stretch out across the trunk of my car and desperately trying to keep it from getting on my paint. I ended up with adhesive all over my hands and it took days to go away despite using various soaps including fast orange haha. This was not the fault of the product, it worked as intended, maybe it was a bit more viscous than I thought it would be as I cut the tip too small to easily allow it to be applied and had to squeeze the handle much harder than I figured they intended, causing lots of additional issues for myself.The adhesive itself is awesome. It went on fine, I gave it 48 hours to dry using suction cup clamps and some support from underneath. I have since taken it through a car wash and the seal seems to be holding fine. Top has been put down and up without any loss of adhesion. It's black colored so the parts I added a more than intended to do not show up unless under scrutiny. No complaints with it.Overall this product worked exactly as I expected it to and has held up so far. If anything changes I may update the review, but for now 5 stars!

The 3M Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive is a fantastic product! It’s easy to apply, and the medium viscosity is perfect for a smooth, even application. It cured quickly and provided a strong bond. I used it for my windshield replacement, and it’s holding up great—highly recommend!

I used the 3M 08693 windshield adhesive to replace the quarter glass on my 94 Honda accord 2 Door. To lay a bead on the pinch weld of the car and the glass itself took 1/2 of the tube of adhesive. This urethane adhesive is pretty thick stuff I let the tube warm up in the sun for a couple hours before using (Before Opening) to help soften it up to make it flow better. I also used a "RED DEVIL 3989" Extreme Duty Caulk Gun with a 26:1 Thrust Ratio ($20 on amazon) and I'm glad I did because it worked flawlessly! I don't think I would have been able to squeeze it through a normal harbor freight caulk gun and didn't want to waste a tube of adhesive and screw up all my prep work using the wrong or too weak of caulk gun. This adhesive seems to be good quality and don't expect any issues it's holding tight with no leaks.
