Easy to install to PCI-E slot on 12 year old motherboard (P55M Pro). Drivers installed from disk no problem in Windows 10 and Windows 7. Just worked with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (No need to install anything). Useful power cables included including Molex to SATA (Especially useful as I ran out of SATA power connectors). Particularly impressed as I tried another manufacturers USB-3 PCI-E upgrade card last year with no joy at all! Well done SupaGeek :-)

Simple but nice packing. I see that my external HDD docking stations working faster. Working in my Manjaro Linux ad hoc also in Windows 10. I'm very happy with this buy (hope it will last ;-)) and thank you for little pressie.

You dont have to be a computer engineer as I am to install this its a piece of cake unscrew the back plate off insert in a spear slot. Screw the plate back on the back of the case and its ready to rock and roll. No drivers needed windows takes care of that if you have windows 10.

For those looking for a USB 3 PCIe card that's compatible with Manjaro Linux (probably all distros) , this one works fine. I bought it after some research to find which chipsets work under Linux, and this one apparently fit the bill so I bought it and gave it a try. Worked first time, no issues. No drivers needed the Kernel had all needed (as at kernel 5.3 anyway) running my webcam and usb mic off it, and plugged into the front panel too (gfx card covers the motherboard connector lol bad design) and the front ports also work.

My ageing PC does not have USB 3.0 headers on the Motherboard. With faster external storage becoming cheaper it was frustrating having to wait for transfers over USB 2.0. With an external HDD connected over USB 3.0 I now get 150 MB/s. Card is easy to install and has a sleek looking black PCB. The USB 3.0 header offers a snug fit and the whole board is sturdy and well made. I had a spare MOLEX connector near it so used the included cable to offer power to the board. There is also a SATA power cable as well. Overall. Really impressed given how cheap it is.

I bought this card for my latest PC build, after I had problems with intermittent connection to motherboard USB sockets on a previous PC (and installed a similar card). The facility for power connection direct to the power supply permits me to use higher drain devices: bus powered scanner and external hard disc. So long as you are comfortable opening your PC and plugging things together, installation is straightforward following the supplied instructions. There is a driver file to install and you're away. I had no need to contact Tech Support. This is my second purchase of the same card.

After installing the USB expansion card. It would not detect anything I pluged into it. I checked the device manager and it had am yellow error. Tried searching for drivers the card after trying to update the driver on the device. "this device has the latest driver" but still showed an error. I un-installed the device and rebooted the PC. The card appears to be working now!

So. Many. Usb. Devices. Being an RGB hound has it drawbacks, after running low on USB ports I turned to this. Was a breeze to install (though I have a lot of both personal and professional experience), looks stylish (didn't want a shiny silver metal one ruining the aesthetics of the back of my PC where nobody can see it... sigh...) and works flawlessly.

Perfecto lo que buscaba para hacer traspaso de datos , el PC tenia solo USB 2 y tardaba mucho en pasar datos , este USB 3 tarda menos de mitad de tiempo que el USB 2, muy fácil de instalar se configura solo al conectarlo al PC.

Matériel fonctionnant immédiatement et convenablement, pas eu besoin d'installer de driver sous W10 64. La bande passante est correcte et la puissance délivrée par les prises aussi. A savoir, malgré ce que dit le mode d'emploi qui laisse entendre que le branchement sur l'alimentation est optionnel, cette carte d'extension nécessite apparemment impérativement de brancher le câble d'alimentation ( qui est fourni) . Si on essaie de l'utiliser avec seulement le courant fourni par le PCIe, rien ne fonctionne.

Die SupaGeek ist zu empfehlen keinerlei Probleme mit der Installation. Karte in den Slot gesteckt Rechner gestartet Treiber "sind auf der CD", installiert Rechner neu gestartet fertig. Läuft stabil und sauber. Die Anleitung ist in verschiedenen Sprachen. Ebenfalls sind passende Kabel beigelegt. Zuvor waren zwei CSL - 4-Port-USB 3.0 (super Speed) Karte PCIe Express Controllerkarten in jeweils zwei verschiedene Rechner "Workstations" eingebaut "Windows 7 64bit" sowie die komplette Software mit Treiber installiert, was eigentlich nicht notwendig währe, es hätten die Treiber zur Installation ausgereicht. Die Karten, übten Ihre Funktion ein paar Mal aus dann gingen die Rechner nur noch bis zum Bios oder zum Reparaturmodus, was nichts bringt, außer zum völligen Absturz vom Rechner. "Karten wieder ausgebaut eine war im Slot währendem Betrieb kaputt gegangen, die andere habe ich verschenkt". Wer teure Programme auf seinem Rechner installiert hat wie ich zum Beispiel, würde ich persönlich die CSL - 4-Port-USB 3.0 Karte keinesfalls mehr kaufen. Jedoch muss ich fairerweise dazu sagen die Karte, die ich meinem Verwandten geschenkt habe, geht auf seinem älteren Rechner ohne Probleme.

Arrivata nei tempi previsti , uguale alla descrizione , confezionata bene , nella scatola oltre la schda si trovano i cavetti per alimentarla se ce ne fosse bisogno ma funziona anche senza , il mini cd per i driver con W10 non ce ne sarebbe bisogno ma io gli ho installati ugualmente dandogli al W10 la compatibilità per W7 , riconosciuta subito e anche i driver . Funziona molto bene ottimo acquisto e ottimi Amazon come sempre .

La scheda funziona perfettamente. Installata e andata in servizio senza problemi. La fattura sembra di buona qualità. I connettori sono OK. (Windows 10 Pro - x64 - 20H2)
