Used in the corners of rectangle shaped shelf. Recommended product!
It is easy to connect and use. It's working very well. Its slim design makes it perfect for fitting anywhere. We use in the corners of the rectangle shaped shelf.

Ok, but a little trick to align
The spring fingers seem to be a little bit difficult to align with the conductor pads on the led ribbon and they are pretty stiff too. You might need to use a very small flat screwdriver to adjust the pads. Aside from that, they work well for routing LED ribbon

can’t get it to work? read this
I couldn’t get this to work even after watching videos so here is the trick to getting the connectors to work. before you start, make sure your light strip has been be cut at the right point, in a straight line, and using sharp scissors. 1. use the blue tool to pry open the connector’s white flip-top 2. GENTLY lift up all of the silver pins inside (this makes it possible for the light strip to slip inside all the way and get into the correct position) 3. with the copper-colored dots facing up, insert your light strip inside the connector and UNDER the silver pins, pushing it in all the way. the end of the strip should reach to where the base of the silver pins are. if it doesn’t reach there, lift the silver pins a bit more so that they are not blocking the way 4. gently but firmly push the pins back down so they touch the copper-colored parts of the light strip 5. snap the white flip-top closed hope this helped! :)

You may want to just get a standard LED light kit
I am pretty experienced with LED and electrical work in general. I would say that I would have been more than capable with using these. With that said, these little connectors were a PITA to use. I questioned my life choices by the end of it all. I had to make a few modifications to allow the strip to fit in the connectors. I finally gave up on one and it has half of the colors... Just get a standard, yet more expensive, LED light kit.... or a degree in LED light strips... ROFL

Tricky to get adhesive strips in
A little tricky to get the strip into these connectors due to the adhesive on the back of the strips. Took a lot longer than expected, and I ended up having to reset some of them since they didn't make a good connection. Ended up working, but more trouble than I thought I'd have.
