Works well - cuts cleanly. I used it to cut a standard SIM to Micro SIM size. I have only used it twice. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is its cost. It seems a lot more sturdy than the cheaper alternatives on Amazon but for the 1 or 2 times I would have to use it, it is expensive

At the time, I was using prepaid cell service from att (Go Phone) using my telephone. I've had this service for many (6+ years?) and have switched phones a number of times without any need to talk to or visit ATT. That is, until I purchased a new phone that only accepted Micro sims only. I decided that since this was such an old sim, I would stop in some day to an ATT shop and have them re-issue the sim as a micro- or all-size sim. I still had my old phone with me (since it used the bigger sim) and stopped into ATT on the way home. ATT refused to issue a new sim until they could see the new phone, obtain the IMEI number, etc -- something NOT necessary for prepaid service. I even spoke to a supervisor who echoed these rules. I was so mad I decided that I would not go home, get the new phone, and return to this service center. I ordered this sim card cutter; had it delivered prime; cut my sim and placed it in the new phone. Voila. Everything works great without the need to allow ATT staff to try and upsell me to other services. A few months later, ATT changed their service offerings, and I changed to h20 wireless, (an ATT reseller), who sent me a new sim card (while keeping my OLD number of course), which worked immediately. WARNINGS FOR THIS CUTTER. Pay attention!! If you put the sim in the wrong way, you will cut the sim incorrectly, and RUIN the sim. I happened to have an old sim from another country that I wasn't using, and I cut it first as a trial run. AND I CUT IT WRONG! So take your time with this item. The instructions could be a little more clear IMO.

It's a very nice design, but it doesn't always align the SIMs perfectly.I use this very frequently at work, and while the cut SIMs work most of the time, there are still a few that are destroyed.I feel overall, this gave me a 95% success rate, which is still pretty good.

Other reviewers weren't kidding. SIM slot was neither too loose nor too tight, the icons engraved into it tell you which way it should face (contacts down, away from the metal that will be pressing the middle out), and the cut was super clean. So clean that I don't even need the flimsy plastic adapters this came with--I can simply use the part it trimmed off as the adapter. (I tested it both ways and it worked fine.) This is one time where my dad's suggestion to buy the best quality product rather than the cheapest definitely paid off. Yes, it's more than twice the price of many competing products. But look at all the complaints of SIM cards not lining up or rough cuts and ask yourseld if you want to deal with the possible frustration of a poorly manufactured hand tool, or just cut your SIM down to size and be done with it in less than 10 seconds. Heck, i may even resell mine complete with all adapters and unused accessories, since i probably won't need to cut another SIM for a while, so keep an eye out if you want it a little cheaper.

I was really worry about cutting my Verizon micro sim card down to the nano sim size to fit my new phone (the Motorola Droid Turbo). I ordered the Air4tech hoping it would work. The product arrived in perfect condition. It is very well built and it comes with all the adapters, push pins accessories all in a very nice package. I tried it on one of the old micro sim card just to practice and then I did it on my current micros sim card and it worked. Like one of the reviewers mentioned my micro sim card was slightly thicker than the new style nano sim. I did have to push it down slighter into the adapter for it go into the phone sim slot. But it works perfectly as soon as I turned my new phone on. I highly recommend this product.

This press cut much cleaner than other similar devices selling on Amazon (tip: to prevent injury to my hands, I place the cutter on a clean, level, floor and use the sole of my foot to cut the sim). The package also includes adapters to convert a micro-sim or a nano-sim into a regular sim. I recommend it

Edit: 1 star because amazon or the seller changed this from a review for a sim card cutting tool to a fitness tracker. forget that noise. I never bought the item this review is under.This makes such clean cuts that you can just re-use the cut-off section if you need to undo the operation.It's quite heavy and really easy to use. my only complaint is that i wish it had a locking mechanism to keep it closed during storage.

Used this to cut my micro sim card into a nano card, no problems at all. I inserted my card into the slot and it almost had no room to move so I couldn't really mess this up. The markings on this thing are pretty easy to read. On a side note you may need to lightly sand your card down after you cut it because my card was way to thick for my nexus 6.
