The 12-Pack of these LED tubes arrived the day after I ordered. The box/packaging secured the bulbs without damage. Further, the bulbs were not over-packaged. Each bulb was in an individual, thin wall, cardboard box. The plastic end-caps were simple and protective. My project was to replace 9 florescent bulbs in 5 fixtures in my garage. After a little research, I found that it was fairly straight forward to by-pass/remove the ballast in each fixture, direct wire the "tombstones", reassemble & install the LED tubes. The result was great: all the LED lights functioned and my garage is brighter than ever. Important point - DO NOT BY-PASS THE BALLAST UNTIL THE POWER IS CUT OFF AT THE BREAKER PANEL. If you are unsure about working with the fixture wiring and ballast, get an electrician to perform the task.

Why didn't I do this years ago? My garage went from being usable as the Batcave in the next movie to being so bright you could perform surgery in there. I have 3 banks of four lights and these lights are bright! They came well packaged. All you need to do is bypass the ballast in the fixture and these lights slide right into where the old fluorescent ones were. Make sure you turn off the breaker to the room you are working on. Don't just turn off the light switch! Of the 24 lights I had a problem with the end of 1 of them. The end cap came off and I couldn't get it back on in way that looked safe. Sent an email to the seller and a new bulb was quickly on the way. Fantastic customer service. This is an easy upgrade and I am super happy I did it. These bulbs are so bright I've instructed my family that when they turn them on they have to make a cool "bwahhhhhhhhh" sound whenever they turn them on.

The 12 pack of JESLED T8 4FT LED Type A+B Tube Light Bulbs, 24W 6000K, 3200LM Super Bright Light Tubes arrived on time and in good condition. The two light tubes that were installed with direct wiring on each end worked well when ballast was removed. Hopefully, the other 10 tube lights are in good condition and will provide long service. I did not unpack them to inspect. The plug and play did not work with my fixture or ballast when I tried it. Planned to remove the ballast when I purchased these lights. Reasonable cost if they last.

My electrician taught me how to bypass a ballast for a fluorescent light to convert it to an LED fixture. The lightbulbs he used for the one fixture he converted weren’t as bright as the 2900 lumen fluorescent bulbs previously in the fixture. Based upon the great reviews and the lumens, I bought a 12-pack of these bulbs. The light is clearer and brighter than the 2900 lumen fluorescent bulbs. I am very happy with them. However, the ends aren’t as sturdy as the GE LED bulbs the electrician used. When I took off the prong protector of the first bulb, the end cap came off. The notch that keeps it on the LED tube broke. I didn’t apply a lot of pressure. I was able to reattach the end cap and insert it in the fixture. I was very careful when taking off the prong protectors on the remaining bulbs. It didn’t happen again. I don’t mind that you can see the individual LED bulbs as some reviewers mentioned. I don’t look up at the bulbs so it isn’t noticeable to me. I bought a 25 pack to finish the garage conversion. I definitely recommend them.

I have been dreading what to do about the 20+ yr old fluorescent fixtures in my basement that have been going dead. I figured huge hassle and/or big $ to replace them. In a last ditch effort before calling an electrician, I found these LED, ballast-bypass replacement bulbs. I was concerned about the effort to do the wiring work, and if the light would be ok, but they were so inexpensive, I decided it was worth it to just try on one fixture. One night after work, I decided to try one fixture. I was amazed how simple the wiring was, and the new bulbs looked and functioned great! I wound up continuing to finish all of the fixtures in my entire basement, and I was done before I knew it. I am completely happy with the results. Nice bright lights that turn on instantaneously, and they should save power with less hazardous material in the process. By the way, the bulbs arrived quickly and were securely packaged. Every bulb worked perfectly, and I have zero complaints about the quality.

I used these bulbs to replace bulbs in a T12 fixture that holds 4 tubes. After removing the ballast and rewiring it was so bright that I only used 2 led tube lights instead of 4. Honestly 1 would be plenty of light.

The JESLED T8 LED Type B are great bulbs, nice and bright with the color temperature as advertised. I ordered the pack of 12 as a cheaper option to buying full replacement fixtures or ballasts. The wiring diagrams are clear and removing the ballasts and converting the fixtures took about 30 minutes each. It's a good idea to open your existing lights before ordering to confirm compatibility, and a selection of various sized marrettes, (wire nuts) will make it easy.

These 4 foot t8 led tubes are very bright !! It’s a nice white light , flick the switch and instant on! No more slow starts and even slower starts in winter !!! Wiring was simple , just remove the ballast and ground to one side and neutral to the other , I replaced two quad tube fixtures, even with just two led T8 installed was brighter than the 4 fluorescent’s, I ordered a pack of 12 and unfortunately had two that flickered and that was it , I’ve contacted the seller and waiting to see what they tell me , otherwise I would have given a 5 star review, next iam going to replace my 8foot fluorescents , as I have 3 that are on the way out ! Take my advice and buy these you won’t be disappointed

Thank you for the recent shipment of 12, 24 W, T-8 LED Tubes. I have finished installing 11 of them with 1 as a spare. They arrived well packaged in perfect condition, they were easy enough to install, (except for removal of a couple of ballasts, but that seems to be the case with other people too) and they work perfectly and provide a much better light in my small shop. Not to mention the savings in electricity costs and no more “buzzing noises.” My only advice: Cut the wires close to the ballast so that enough wiring remains to complete the job. I recycled the old ballasts at our local facility. Thank you for a good product, a good price, and a good buying experience.
