I live in a tropical place fans run 24/7. We used to buy the Lasko fans but those all burn out after a year "everyone of them" but the Air Minsters fans last 3+ years. One of them is about 5 years and still going. Some will say its the same fan, well the blades are the same but AirMonster fans have a bigger better motor, well slightly bigger cant tell unless the cover is off and better longer lasting baring in them. I know cause I took apart my old fans to compare the motors.

So I love loud fans, my high velocity floor fan went out, I LOOOVVVEEE loud fans so I took a few days to compare and decided to go with this just because the reviews said it was loud and sound like a airplane propeller so that had me excited. It's not as loud as my floor fan but it's loud enough.

For my bed room with the ceiling fan on it blows hard and steady...If you like A cold and kinda noisy fan this is your fan

Finally I thought my quest for a good fan was over. I wanted something big, and noisy for my bedroom. I was wrong, its far from over.My first problems were on assembly. Easy enough, its a fan. Where I hit problems was on the blade guard, the bottom two clips refuse to stay clipped. The guard seems to be warped slightly.The second and absolute show stopping problem is the fan makes a loud click/pop when it reaches the end of one side of the oscillation. I like fan noise for sleeping, not plastic popping.Finally, for an 18" fan it has very poor air flow on the highest setting.

I've bought 3 of these fans & will buy them in the future as needed.. I have nothing concerning or negative to add..
