Helly Hansen Men's Crew Hooded Jacket 2

Super nice jacket. Beautifully made. Fit true to size. (5'11" / 180 lbs - Medium) But it was lighter than I expected. It's essentially just a heavy raincoat shell with a mesh lining. Warm enough for 50F/10C if you're active, but not much below that. If you need something down to 0C or below, you'll need to find a heavier jacket.

Excellent jacket - not too heavy, but very well shielded from the rain/snow/wind, and quite warm too. I don’t like bulky jackets as I ski at advanced level and get quite warm on some long runs. I am planning to wear 2 thin inner layers and this jacket for skiing, and it should suffice to keep me warm on the highest ski trails this winter. I wear 15.5 for my shirt and a medium size fit me perfectly. Helly Hanson is known for their quality, and I am expecting my jacket to last many years.

Estoy contento con la compra. La chaqueta es holgada, y sienta muy bien. Los materiales se ven buenos, pero evidentemente, también pagas la marca. Es una chaqueta impermeable, va a evitar que pase el agua y el viento, pero en días de frío, debes tener capas abajo. La volvería a comprar

I've been a fan of this brand for a while and decided to spend a little extra this time around. This a great jacket, I would say ideal mainly for 5-10 degree weather with a t-shirt, anything less I would probably wear an extra layer. It's lighter than I thought it was going to be. Definitely a Spring or Fall jacket, possibly Winter but you'd want a sweater on other layers I think. I have worn it mainly for walking and casual wear and it's been great so far. Lots of useful pockets and I like that the hood can be tucked away when not in use. The zippers (YKK brand) are top notch and anti-corrosive. Heavy wind does not seem to go through very much at all so it definitely breaks the wind, although I did notice a little bit will go through the arms (around the forearms). So maybe best to wear a long sleeve or adjust the cuffs on the jacket to be tighter to avoid that. It's very easy to maneuver in it though, so I like aspect as well, it does not feel constricted when wearing it. It's also 'breathable' overall, compared to many other jackets which don't seem to be breath much at all and become hot after a short time. The Navy colour looks great, goes with pretty much anything I wear. Overall I'd recommend this one, definitely ideal for coastal living and windy conditions, it is a 'sailing jacket' after all.
