Fan motor speeds work again
If your heat/cooling fan only works on the highest setting, you probably need one of these. Worked in my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. Most difficult part of the install was contorting your body to get to it. I recommend getting into truck from driver's side, lay on back across seat, and then slide your upper body off up under the glove box area. Unplug the old one, take out two phillips screws, then put the new one in.

Easy to install, restored function
Easy to install, replacing OEM unit on 02 Ram 1500, which only worked on the highest setting. This one still does not work on lowest setting, but that may be something else entirely causing the issue. For the low price this restored function. Installation was two or three easy to get to bolts under the glove box and clip in a wiring harness, then you’re up and running.

AC Fan Blower Motor Resistor
Needed to replace this on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 cuz I’d lost all control settings on my Fan Speed Selector Switch except High, This fixed the problem for less than $20 and is only 2 screws and a plug, Took about 10 minutes after cleaning all the leaves and debris from inside the cavern this sits in under the dash on the passenger side. After 20 years it had plenty built up, Now I know to set a piece of paper or cardboard under it before removing it so I catch all the debris and save a few minutes by catching the mess and keeping my floorboards clean. Great replacement part for a Great Price!

Lasted 2 weeks in my 06' Dodge Ram 2500
I have had it with these cheap ripoff parts. This one lasted a couple weeks, bulged, cracked and burned out.After it burned out, my fan motor continues to work fine on the "High" setting which bypasses the fried resistor. Since the resistor has burned out, the fan won't spin on the lower settings. The motor is drawing normal current and the factory stock fuse is OK.This cheap part can't handle the load and quickly burns out. As an added insult, it spews out insulating "sand" on the truck carpeting when you remove the fried part.Luckly, it died within the return period, so I am sending it back for a refund. No, I don't want a new one.
