Q: are these mid rise? Why it is NOT labeled properly.

It is labeled properly. These are low-rise waistline. Good for a person who doesn't want mid-rise. Especially good for a man like me with a big belly. I don't want to purchase a larger size mid-rise to stretch the waistband over my belly, so I purchased these low-rise briefs and they fit very nicely just below my belly.

Q: Need 36 inch waist, what size should I order?

Order XL size. They will shrink when washed..

Q: What waist size is small? Is it 32 inches?

No way is a 32 inch waist a size small. I’m a 29 waist and after one wash I could barely get my stuff into them. Go with the medium for sure!
