Pleasantly Surprised
They were a little smaller than I thought they would be, but they turned out to be just the right size. I have roughly a dozen different brands of kneaded erasers, so I have experience with them. I have recently begun working with charcoals instead of strictly graphite and charcoal uses up kneaded erasers much faster so I was stocking up. I came across these and honestly didn't have high expectations at all, simply because they were so cheap...Wow, was I pleasantly surprised by these. Another reviewer commented that they aren't of the quality of some other name brand erasers, I totally disagree! These little gems are awesome! They aren't as soft as the F.C. 3 color ones, but they aren't as hard as some other name brands either. I have Arthritis and Fibromyalgia in my hands and it is hard for me to use the stiffer kneaded erasers, although these are real soft I can still make them into any shape I choose with ease. You can get really fine detail with these erasers, much finer than I expected! Another surprise with these is even though they erase charcoal really well (much better than half the brands out there) they don't hold on to the charcoal like other brands do. I'm puzzled as to where the charcoal goes, but it isn't in the eraser. LoL Other erasers clog up very fast when used on charcoal, but these little gems outlast every single brand I have here!! They are fantastic! I haven't tried them out on graphite yet, but I have others that work well on that anyway, so I'm not too concerned with that. If you work with charcoals, you would do well to try these out! I hope they don't change them at all, they are perfect just like they are! I will definitely be ordering more of these, although not as fast as I thought, because they last much longer than expected!! :)

they are fine, but they are not high quality art supplies
These are very thin and small. The coloring used to dye them comes off onto the paper when used as erasers. Truly if you want the "real" kneaded eraser experience you need to get the more expensive, thicker, gray brands. This product is much cheaper, of course, which is why I gave them a try - the price allowed me to give my students each one - but in fact you do get what you pay for. They are soft and malleable, with a fair amount of oil in them. If you are using these to give restless students something to manipulate and handle, they are fine, but they are not high quality art supplies.

I expected it to be a much better quality eraser
I bought this for my grand daughter and, yes it is soft and very kneadable however, I expected it to be a much better quality eraser. They did not erase as cleanly as I expected. After writing with a number 2 pencil, and not even pressing very hard, the print could still be seen.

Kids love it
I bought these as prizes for 3rd graders that I work with. The colors aren't as bright as I'd hoped. The orange looks more brown than orange, and the green is a bit sickly. The other colors are more true to the picture. It's a bit oily, which makes sense considering the product. They are functional as erasers and fidgets, and they last. I have students that still have theirs, and they're just as moldable as the day they were unwrapped.I definitely plan on purchasing them again. I gave some to a high school teacher, and her students reacted about the same way: really enjoyed them.

Not kneadable
I wanted them as fidget toys. I tried to knead the eraser and it basically just broke apart. I had already handed half of them out so I unfortunately couldn't return them. In reading past reviews, I was prepared they weren't great erasers. I was not expecting them to break apart when kneading them.

they don't work like the artist's kneadable erasers
I bought these for watercolor paper, they don't work like the artist's kneadable erasers. Great for kids eraser regular paper.

Multi Use Item for Students:)
These are a lot of fun. I give them out as prizes to students I work with. They are useful as erasers and as a fidget toy.
