Extreme Slim Profile 3X120mm Radiator - Black

First off, the description states "slim" radiator, but a 45mm thick, this is not slim. I first bought one of these to cool a 8600K and GTX1080 ij a Lian Li )11 Dynamic and it works well with a 10w DDC pump with EKWB GPU block and mobo monblock. No issues cooling with low speed fans at 900-1K RPMs. You will get better cooling at 1.5K-1.8K RPM fans if you run a hotter setup or under load. One thing that must be done with this radiator prior (and almost any radiator actually) to use, is to soak it with Mayhems Blitz part 1 by their instructions or white vinegar for about 10-12hrs and then drain and flush it out thoroughly with hot tap water and then rinse with distilled water. My first radiator from 2019 was filled and soaked for 1 hour with white vinegar and drained and what came out was green from the oxidized copper/brass. I then filled it again with vinegar and let it soak overnight and then drain again and it was much less discoloration the second time. Most of these radiators have oxidation and flux still in them from the manufacturing process and from sitting on a shelf, so make sure you clean it prior to installing in your loop and filling with coolant. Better to clean it out and make sure nothing is still in it and ruin your coolant loop. And currently use three of these now and my pair from 2020 batch had much less oxidation and not much color change to the white vinegar after soaking over night. Using the two pairs now on a 10900K with no issue keeping that CPU at bay at 58C max under load at 5.1Ghz all core overclock.

The fins on this could never be described as being dense. I think the cooling would have been rather poor. I also ordered a white radiator, but a black was sent to me. Either way, the quality of the product and the accuracy of the description were issues and I returned it immediately.

Worked fine and built well.
