The Kodiak gauges are precision instruments that are well built. I screwed on a standard 1/4" air-hose chuck for schrader valves (auto tire valves) and I had a precision gauge for my low pressure tie application. The highest precision is achieved when your target pressure is in the middle to upper end of the gauge's range. My target pressure was 2.75 psi so I selected this gauge at 0 to 5 psi gauge. For a target pressure of 15 psi (ATVs?) I would select the 0 to 30 psi gauge. For those wanting precision readings for cars, select the 0 to 60 psi gauge.Note the two types of air-hose chucks ... those without an "S" designation and those with an "S" designation. The "S" designation chucks stops air flow when it isn't pressed into the valve. This is common at a mechanic's garage. The air hose is connected to their air compressor and only lets air flow when pressed into a tire valve. I would not use that for this application. Once a pressure reading is taken, the chuck does not let the pressure out of the gauge after removing it from the tire's valve. For example, I chose the Milton 699 1/4" female air chuck (available on Amazon) for this application. I avoided the Milton S699 version.

Good low pressure gauge
I have an application that has the air pressure regulated to 1.5-2 PSI and it is hard to find a gauge like this locally. This makes it easy to read and since I have it attached to a max 5psi regulator if anything does go wrong, it should not kill the gauge.

works well
does the job. Use to show the height of the water in our holding tank. ie 8 feet height of water in the tank equals 3.4 PSI

Bad
I bought this to install on a steamboiler which currently has a negative 30 to a positive 30PSI gauge hoping that the 0 to 5PSI of this gauge would give me a more accurate reading. I know the system's been running all night and is currently around 2PSI yet this new gauge shows 0

Not many pressure gauges go this low
It is well built and the numbers are very legible.
