I have an IPhone 8 Plus. It is too large for the front pocket in my pants and way too large for a shirt pocket. During the Fall months I usually wear a light-weight jacket, but most of my jackets do not have a pocket that allows me to securely carry my large phone. This case and the strapping mechanism can be worn comfortably under a light coat or even between my t-shirt and my shirt. The straps keep the phone in place but make it easy to remove the phone when it is needed. This approach is similar to the hand gun holstering approach used by some law enforcement officers.

I use the item for carrying my cell when I do not have a pocket in which to carry it. The strap is somewhat complicated and perhaps more cumbersome than needed, but it does the trick.

Seriously needs improvement. This is a great idea, just not done as well as it should be. They have been making shoulder holsters for guns for more than a century. Why not use those designs to start with?
