Levi's Women's 501 Mid Thigh Shorts

I went based on others’ suggestions to size up, but I actually wish I would have stayed with my regular size. They’re a little big in the waist, but it’s not too bad.

These are exactly the style I was looking for. The denim feels like a classic pair of Levi’s, and the length is perfect—not too short but still flattering. I sized up because so many reviews recommended it, and I really wish I hadn’t. I’d stick with my normal Levi’s size next time. The shorts themselves are great, I just ordered the wrong size.

I sized up in these shorts because I wanted them to be a bit baggier and I love them! They are so cute on and go with everything!!

wish i bought two sizes up like reviewers mentioned! the waist area fits well (even a bit loose) - BUT the thigh area is a bit too tight and creates these lines in the groin area. i’m 5’4” 157 pounds, my measurements: hip: 41 waist: 32.8. i went to levi’s recently and tried on a bunch of jeans, i was typically a size 31. per the size chart i would be a size 31, i bought a size 32 and it doesn’t fit right. my butt looks nice in it though. hopefully the next size up will be better.

I was looking for a quality pair of shorts for the summer and purchased these as my first official pair of Levis. I ordered several pairs in different sizes after reading the reviews and looking at the sizing chart because I wasn't sure what to expect, and I'm glad I did because these didn't fit how I was expecting them to. The material doesn't have a lot of stretch to it, even after prolonged wear, and they tighten right back up after being washed, so they fit very true to size. That said, make sure you get a size that's comfortable across the board. However, I love the look of these and the length. You can dress them up or down and the material is good quality. I bought my pair when these were on sale for about $30 which for the quality of the material, I thought was a fairly solid deal.

What in the world am I getting!? This is genuinely the worst size experience in clothing I’ve ever had. I got size 27 originally as it said it would fit a 28” waist. I’m on a path of losing weight. So, if there were snug that’s fine. Why on earth did they fit like a size 25-26” waist? I reordered for a size 29 (being extra cautious for room) and THEY FIT ABOUT THE SAME AS THE FIRST!? These shorts are the exact cuts I want, but what in the world Levi’s!? Is no one else having this issue. I have a 29” waist currently and I’m so lost at what I need to be ordering. This is such a hastle.

Loooove these so much. The wash is perfect, they’re very comfortable too. I don’t feel super restricted when I’m wearing them. 10/10!! I would order again in another color.

Great quality. Good fit with nice length for running around after a toddler. Wash well and don’t shrink.

They feel tight the first time wearing them, but they loosened after an hour or so. I was hesitant with which size I should get after reading the reviews, but it was the same fitting as over Levi shorts I have.

These are super cute! I am normally a 26 but purchased a 27 as everyone recommended sizing up. Do NOT size up. Size 27 was huge in the back waistband and loose in the thighs. I then ordered a 26 but these were still one size too big in the waist and were fine everywhere else, but a 25 would have been better. I am a true size 26 so i would suggest sizing 1 size down for the perfect fit, especially if you have a flat waist. I am so sick of vanity sizing. :( They will still fit in the legs if you have normal to thin legs. Measure your waist and order according to the size chart and size one size down. I am 5’9, 128 lbs and have a 26.5” waist and the 27 was wayyy too big and the 26 was one size too big.

Love these shorts. True Levi’s quality
