Las Palmas, a delicious classic
I use Las Palmas because of the familiar flavor, and consistency in my dishes. I know just what my enchiladas will be like when I use this product. It is a great value for the money as I can use just 1-2 cans of this for a whole large casserole dish of enchiladas. I use the medium so as to provide some spiciness, but not so much as to overpower the mouths of those who cannot handle the spiciness as well. This is a pantry staple in my house, and there is always 2-3 cans on my shelves.

Good but unexpected
Ok I really liked this sauce, it has a deep flavor and reminded me a bit of molé. However, it’s not the typical bright “red” enchilada sauce you normally get in a can. It’s brown and really good.

Yummy sauce
Made enchiladas with this sauce and they were delicious!

No my usual brand.......
I prefer another brand, hence the 4 stars. This brand seemed to be redder and a little bit spicier than my usual brand which is a browner color and less spicier. It'll do in a pinch when you might need something in a hurry. It came overnight, and I was able to get my enchiladas made for Thanksgiving and mixed it in with my usual brand. They turned out good.

Just the right amount of heat!

Not what I expected, extremely unpleasant taste, threw away
Did I get a bad can? Contents were super watery and brown not red. Worst part is it looked, smelled and tasted like tobacco water. Did someone in the factory dump a spitoon into the canning machine? Not joking here. Tried a little and threw the rest out. Not like any enchilada sauce I've ever tasted, and I love Mex & TexMex and have had all kinds from San Antonio to Oaxaca. If you like the taste of chewing tobacco then maybe this is for you, but I'll stick with other brands. Seriously, did I get a bad can ???

Maybe too authentic
My family did not like this sauce. We are used to a sweeter sauce. This is gritty, again probably just more authentic and we are not used to it.
