This is the future of CCTV. Top quality NVR. Not your usual plastic box but metal and looks fantastic in silver. Putting up the cameras is straight forward. Had it 2 days now and it works better than my Swann 12K system which was double the price. I used to have 8 Cameras with Swann now with this unit I only need 4 as its dual lens and can be focused on 2 different areas at once. Only a few issues that I thought their testers should have found. Fan is noisey i have the NVR in bedroom but only comes on for a few seconds. App sometimes doesn't show cameras but a simple close app and reopen sorts the issue. When using selecting HDMI channel for camera you get a loading screen for 2 seconds. Not sure why that is but I can live with that. Ai tracking is spot on. Not missed a thing. Picture is the best I've seen even at night. This is the future of CCTV NOW.

This is overall a great system and far in advance of the Arlo system I had before. I initially had problems getting the activity zones to work . After lengthy email correspondence with Eufy technical support (very supportive and nice but not very technical) they eventually sent me a replacement camera to try. I then happened to find out the simple setting I was missing and the system worked perfectly and I sent the replacement back. The ability to only have the cameras activate an event (there is always continuous recording) is great. They can be configured to be triggered by humans, vehicles, pets, motion or a combination of all of them. The moveable camera tracks people as they move around the field of view. I replaced the HDD with an 8TB video surveillance HDD and I get around 16 days recording. In case it helps - my issue was this. To set up activity zones it is necessary to set them for both cameras in the same unit (because each unit has a fixed and a moveable camera). Before setting the activity zone in the moveable camera you need to set a "default view" then set the activity zone. If you subsequently change the default view to another position the activity zone still shows as set - but it won't work. You need to delete that activity zone and set up a new one based on the new default view. Sounds complex but takes about 30 seconds when you have the system and the above will be a lot clearer. I am pleased I bought it.

I've been waiting for a NVR solution for some time, and decided to go with Eufy, due to the AI capabilities and the dual camera approach on each Camera. I've had this in place for a few weeks now and found that this ticks most of the boxes I was looking for. Strengths: Audio control detection and two way conversation is good Night Vision Is strong People detection and Tracking is Good Face recognition is good (assuming you keep on top of it and keep training) Issues The cameras are not IP cameras, so cannot today just plug in to your network - they must be connected to the NVR - that can we over a dedicated PoE Switch Some detections are questionable - but can be trained out Overall. Very happy and I recommend this solution.

Unbelievable quality video, everything honestly fab - BUT - almost unusable to view over a mobile signal. Even with the quality set to low, the overhead from the (forced) encryption (you cannot turn this off) is too much. It's just too laggy, I've been through every single setting to fix, but to no avail. Triumph of features over real-world usability. I want to be able to see quickly if someone is breaking into my house while I'm at work - this is not the system for that. it will give you really high-quality images of who did it, but dont expect to be able to instruct a delivery guy to leave a parcel, because he's been and gone by the time you can react to the alert

I was a little unsure whether I should give the Eufy system 4 stars or 5, but in the end I picked 5. Its really a very good system. The best feature is that it has cameras with two separate sets of lenses, one for wide angle that cover the whole area at once and the other to zoom in on things that are caught. The two work together to catch everything that happens and create a log. The system also has quite good face recognition and inter-cameera tracking so that an easily reviewed event log tells you quickly about everyone who has been around. You can save friendly faces in the system so that it can weed ouyt strangers. The other nice thing is that it logs everything locally on a server, and also backs it up in the cloud. The best of both worlds. The cloud backup is not overpriced, and also optional. Great. The downside with this system was that I had to wire everything up with ethernet cable, which was fine of course because I wanted powered cameras. I can add wireless ones as well if I want. The only issue with that was that it wouldn't let me connect the ethernet switch back to the server wirelessly. I would have liked to have had that feature, but its a minor point. The system as a whole is good and the wired cameras work well.

Cameras are fine but the NVR on the other hand is dire. Unable to record any video whatsoever. Constant red light HDD indicator on front of the NVR unit. Hard drive appears to be full with 'System Data' & 'System', when connected to a monitor. Eufy support recommends format of the hard drive, which was done twice. But this did resolve the issue of the HDD having no available space. Apparently they are going to send another hard drive but not comfirmed, only get mails once a day over this issue. Getting a little frustrated at the snails pace resolution service, for a brand new unit which serves no purpose at present! Installed Reolink NVR 2tb hard drive and formatted the drive from the Eufy NVR storage control panel. Seems to always report back that there is a 1.39PB HDD Installed rather than TB! I Would really like to return this steaming pile back to Amazon, but already spent time and a lot of effort to get these cameras in place. There is a fundamental problem with the NVR and not really much help coming from Eufy support. Cannot recommend this product at present!!! Come on Eufy, get your act together....

Very good system. DIY installed and was pretty simple. Works seamlessly with Eufy smart E10 display. Camera quality is very clear, would definitely recommend.

Excellent systems with very clear picture quality. Do need to adjust the sensortivity as think things like water butt's are people.
