Pivot Ball Works, but Clanky
Well made and performs as advertised. I have it installed on a Suzuki Volusia and have at least 5000 miles on the hitch/ball. On the road I hardly know I'm pulling a trailer. In town, speed bumps, potholes, etc., you'll know you have this hitch because it definitely clanks back and forth loudly. Sounds like you're dropping parts on the road. However, when cornering the trailer stays up-right while I can lean my cruiser almost like I normally do without the trailer. I do have to take corners just a bit slower and wider, and I have to give more time to accelerate. I find riding with the Freedom Pivot Ball Trailer Hitch, while sometimes noisy, is a far better and safer experience than just using a standard ball. I've seen other trailers (I'm using a Harbor Freight kit), that have really nice in-tongue pivots or ball joints, but I can't afford the really cool stuff. For my use, the Pivot Ball is just fine, and the price, while I think a little high, buys you a very solidly made and well chromed product. If you tow a trailer with your motorcycle and want a less expensive pivot setup, you can't go wrong with this product. Highly recommended.

Size does matter
I would have given this item five stars (it's an innovative invention which works well), except that it is only available in 1 7/8 inch ball. The problem was that I have standardized on 2 inch balls, so it was either switch the connector on my mower, or be constantly changing hitches, or modify this device. I opted to buy this hitch and take it to a machine shop and have them cut off the 1 7/8 ball and weld on a 2 inch ball. Got it back and tested it, and it works fine.BTW, I am not using it on a motorcycle--after having it modified, I mounted it on my Can-Am ATV, which I use with an offset hitch bar on a Swisher Trail Mower to mow my pond banks.

Heavy Duty
Sturdy and the chrome looks awesome. The metal bracket is strong and the bolt is long enough to go through 2 or 3 inches of metal.

Does what it's intended to do.
I used it for pulling my trailer behind my Goldwing, works good!

It twists on the drawbar
It twists on the drawbar and always ends up binding. I'm better off with a standard ball

Harley Trailer Hitch
Little over priced for what it is but nothing you do to a Harley Davidson is cheap!! (HD stands for Hundred Dollars) Easy install and will keep trailer and bike from binding up in lean situation.
