I wish they were less expensive but for lower back pain, they are unbeatable. Much easier to apply than the 2 round pads. This HiDow system has been the most effective pain management I've tried.

I have a portable TENS unit by another company that discontinued it. When I inquired as to where I could get replacement pads for it, they directed me to HiDow, as they are the ones who manufactured the unit I had purchased from the other company. Although I am happy with the functionality, the problem I have with the HiDow pads is their size. They don't seem to make the pads in the size I need. My original TENS unit pads are 3x5. The smallest I have found directly through HiDow is 6.5″ x 3.75.″ While the larger size would be nice, I am not able to put it on my own back. Sometimes I need to throw it on when I am at work and the pain starts to creep in. This creates a huge problem with the large pads, because I cannot get them where I need them to be without getting stuck on my shirt or bra straps. Then the adhesive becomes dirty and they won't stick at all. If I use two smaller pads, I cannot move the unit without one of the snaps coming undone and leaving one of the electrodes on my back. I really need the one piece butterfly shaped pad to avoid having to hunt for the lost pad - again possibly needing assistance because I can't reach all the areas of my back.I teach preschool special education, so it is imperative that I be at my best for the kids in my class. My para-educators are good friends of mine, but it is super uncomfortable to have to ask one of them for help with untangling the sticky pads from my clothing. Since I am not a contortionist, I really need a more manageable size gel pad for my unit. PLEASE, HiDow make a 3x5 size electrode pad! I cannot be the only one who has had this issue.
