Bought this volume and the first too. Really good activity ideas for working with dementia residents at work.

Vol I and II are similar and you may not need both, but they are good.

I have twice ordered this product from Amazon and twice received copies of Volume I mislabeled as Volume II. Try another supplier.

If your loved one pre Alzheimer's diagnoses was into simple crafts kind of stuff this book might be of help. If your loved one is or was a relatively sophisticated person that didn't "craft" or play with blocks, clothes pins, over-sized checkers, etc. in his or her adult life, the book is rubbish. It's author can't know much about Alzheimer's effect on the brain & it's related dementia. Nor how a person with Alzhiemer's experiences his or her disease. The brains of people w Alzheimer's are slowly dying NOT turning into that of a mentally retarded misbehaved 6 year old child. If you would like to humiliate, embarrass & dehumanize a relatively sophisticated loved one suffering from AD this is the book for you.
