This works so well! I am 74 and have arthritis in my hands. Just recently I started to have pain when peeling carrots and other fruits and vegetables. The pain continued for hours after I finished. I saw this and decided to try it. I was going to return it if it didn’t make a real difference in the pain caused by the task. Well, it more than helped me get through the task of peeling. It eliminated the pain during and after peeling six carrots and 6 potatoes. It was faster than using a regular vegetable peeler, too. I love the shredder blade, because I can easily make little carrot sticks for my salads. I’m very pleased with this product. If you have arthritis or you want to speed-up the task I think you’ll like it.

Works great and saves time - I used on sweet potatoes and yams and it really did save time - no orange fingers.

I was excited to use this. I cut my first potato and was amazed. Started on the second one and it stopped working. Not only it stopped working, but it also started to get extremely hot. Took the batteries out and the batteries were starting to split. Could have been dangerous. Sending this back for a refund and will not get this brand again.

I bought it to see if it can peel the pumpkin which is very difficult to peel with the knife. AT first I tested it with the cucimber and it worked great then I tries it on the lime... no go!! It just skipped along. So I did NOT expect it to do well on the pumpkin. Real test time, at first it seemed to have trouble peeling the hard surface but later I figured out the way to do it fine. I had to peel it by placing the pumpkin on the table and move the blade parallel to the table rather than up and down. On the second pumpkin, I could peel a very long skin off by moving the blade and turning the pumpkin in the opposit direction. It also wokrs well with carrot and zucchini but not with the tomato. My sister can NOT peel the pumpkin though because she didn't have the touch and angle required for the job. So I just have to do this for her.

Cannot actually picture my life without this now. I don't know how I peeled any vegetables without this and I will never go back to a life where I don't have this in it.

I believe it's a little too dangerous to use when you have arthritis in your hands. I'm sorry to say.
