A major design flaw limits overall usefulness.
I have a balance disorder and from time to time need an assistive device. These looked less "medical" than the traditional forearm crutch and, in fact, the design is quite attractive, The tube curling round the back of my arm definitely provides me more assurance than I feel with a handle-only cane.Construction is excellent and I think the unit will prove to be durable. My concern is with the company that produces the product. They list no email address. Their web pages have gone untended for months. A phone call to them was answered by a machine and a week later, there's still no response. It seems this is either a "hobby" business or a failed or failing venture.I do have have one major criticism of the product: the tip is not designed to allow the cane to stand. Because of the additional weight of the unique handle and forearm support, the Strongarm Forearm Crutch is almost impossible to lean against a table edge or other possible support. In the same vein, the tip doesn't permit you to restore the cane to a standing position by using your foot on the tip. Because of this, I am very close to deciding to return the product because this design flaw makes the strongarm Forearm Crutch difficult to use in day-to-day activities.Jerry

Quite satisfied with the Strongarm Forearm Crutch
Quite satisfied with the Strongarm Forearm Crutch. This crutch is a better product than I was able to find in the NC Medical Supply store.

If you need a cane for continuous use then this the cane. I am very tall 6'3 and with a permanent leg injury (motorcycle accident) I find that the standard cane used for a longer period of walking will make my hand tremor causing instability. However this cane give you full support. Not a small cane because of the design and may have some giving you a second look but hey become mobile is what is important :)

It works!
I have RA (rheumatoid arthritis) and cannot put any pressure on my wrists or hands. I had given up finding a cane that would work and then I happened upon the Strongarm Forearm Crutch. I was skeptical, but it turns out that it is perfect for me because most of the weight is on my forearm and not on my hand. Now I can go places without someone's arm to lean on. The best thing I can say about it is ... It works!

Disappointing - Less Support than Latimer, Handle That Looks Unreplacable, and Only One Arrived -- So expensive, I Expect Better
The good news - it's a good looking design, looks less "medical" than a Latimer Crutch. The not so good news --This gives *far less* support than a Latimer Crutch, so don't think you can use it as a softer or better looking replacement.-Only one arrived, which makes it pretty useless to me.-It looks like the handle is something I cannot replace; so if it lasts a year or two before it becomes squeezed down and hard, then it'll be time to order a second pair. Pretty expensive and not long lasting, if I'm right about this.-I learned too late that I am not allowed to return it.I don't like to give a review like this, yet I don't want others to be as disappointed as I am.

comfy cane friend
My wife (who has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) uses this to help keep her hip joint stable when walking around without dislocating her wrist in the process as she would with a standard issue cane. As a bonus you can hold it like a gun and go 'pew pew pew' when she's not looking. If you do it when she is looking she will frown. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

StrongArm Cane
It's an excellent cane especially for those with arthritis symptoms and you need extra support for your wrist. It is my second one. The feature that appeals to me is the design shifts the load from your wrist to your forearm providing greater stability. The description states the color to be black, but the picture shows a silver finish. I had to contact the seller to confirm the black finish which is what I wanted.
