Seidio Surface Combo with Kickstand for Samsung Galaxy S9 (Black /Black)

I've purchased this same holster / case combo every time I get a new phone. Holster keeps the phone secure and the belt clip fits my uniform belt. (some are too "short" to clip over the belt. The case keeps the phone protected on the corners well, however it does not have screen protection. It is not a rugged style case, but I've put mine through a lot and happy with the level of protection.

I currently own this exact case, but for my S7 Edge, and I love it. So when it came time to buy one for my S9 Plus, I didn't hesitate buying this model again, but clearly I should have read the previous reviews first.The description states that this case is for a Galaxy S9 Plus, but the case that is actually sent, is for a Galaxy S9. Two previous buyers have encountered the same issue, so clearly this wasn't an accident in shipping.Seidio cases deserve at least a 4 star review, but this particular item is not correctly mapped, so 1 star it is.

This is the third phone I've used the Sedio Surface on, unfortunately my previous phone (HTC Bolt) wasn't supported, so I was glad to get back to them with my Samsung S9. The holster is by far the best design I've tried, very easy to get the phone out of but a very positive latch on it. The case itself is well made, goes on very well, and has protected the phones well. The only thing that went wrong with the last surface was that the lining in the case came a little loose and I had to trim it a bit, but there seemed to be no ill effects on the phone or the case.

I love the Seidio Surface belt clip combo. It makes it easy to access my phone without having to dig it out of my pocket or having to search for it. The clip is very durable and made very well.

I've used this brand for years on various phones and brands. I'ts never let me down. It's a little pricey, but inexpensive compared the protection provided for a $1500 phone. Most only see the $$$ for the case, not the $$$$$$$$$$$ of what it's protecting.

Ordered case as described for Galaxy S9 Plus. Received wrong case. Case was for the Galaxy S9, which is smaller than S9 Plus. Returned case believing simple mistake when picked at warehouse. Received my replacement and still received case for Galaxy S9 and not S9.DO NOT ORDER IF YOU HAVE THE GALAXY S9 PLUS!

As always with Seidio, the design and build quality are excellent. Side edge protection for the curved-edge screen is better than most, with the case edges extending ever so slightly past the flat surface of the screen. The holster quality is top notch, with the belt clip much better than the myriad other off-brand stuff.I'm not really a fan of the way the outer layer of the case goes on - it slides over the edges of the phone from the top and bottom, joining in the middle, but I don't see a way to get that shape case on the phone otherwise. Also, I wish they would get rid of these stupid kick stands on cases. I'd much rather have the phone be able to sit flat on a table. If they offered the same case without the kickstand I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
