This grinder worked well to create a fine grind; however, the metal it's made of is a bit thin. Also, the bottom part twists a little while grinding. The silicone band around the device helps prevent twisting but not entirely.

This portable grinder is made of very thin metal. When assembled, it feels fine, but when you take it apart to add beans or remove grinds, you can see where the black paint finish meets the edge of the metal, and begins to flake off. I'm very sure the finish will start to come off soon, and I'm not sure thrilled to get flecks of it in my coffee. The collection chamber is a glass vessel held inside the metal by friction, and can be removed, but you wouldn't normally do that during use, so it's a little odd that it sits so far down inside the bottom piece. For the price, I've had better made hand grinders.
