Good taste, good quality, good price.

We love this short grain brown rice. It has a nutty flavor. So much healthier than over processed white rice. Sadly it is only available here in 15lb bags on Amazon. For years we have purchased it in local markets in 5lb bags. Wish we could still do.

We eat an awful lot of brown rice at my house, and this surpasses anything I've found at the grocery store. Nice, golden plump rice, cooks up perfectly and tastes really food. And the price is excellent. Split a 15 lb bag with family or friends, or pack it safely in fridge or pantry for use over several months. Delish!

RECENTLYSince previous review below, price was "reasonably increased but still acceptable and I went ahead and purchased at $23+ considering all economic factors. Then now, just few months price went up again. to nearly double close to $40 from my first review I don't think I'll buy. Rather find alternative like gluten free organic brown rice or brown rice pasta 🤔 . I don't think I will ever buy Ata price double from original and an opportunity to change diet as well and remove this rice from my home pantry.PREVIOUSLYThis is a good rice. Kosher/Gluten free. I ordered multiple times since 2019 when it was at $19.99 and glad back to being reasonable again.I have been purchasing this item since 2019 then price change got me to shop at a better price locally.Now that price is acceptable, although with some increase, I might be be sharing sharing with my friends again.

I am super, super picky about brown rice. Frankly, I think most of it is disgusting in flavor and texture. This, however, is sublime - fresh, delicious, and toothsome. I cook it on the white rice setting on my rice maker because I like it a bit al dente. It's the only one worth buying, in my opinion. I was delighted at just HOW fresh this bag was when it arrived - it smells and feels like it was just picked. Buy it; you won't regret it!PS - pro tip - if you have leftovers, try putting some oil in a skillet over medium heat, spreading it out in the pan and occasionally stirring it until it becomes crisp/chewy and slightly clumpy (bonus points if you add sesame seeds). SO good.

AMAZING brown rice!! So I make my rice in an instant pot (pressure cooker) and usually make it in broth as opposed to water. I made this rice for the first time with onion soup broth mix. The rice took some of the flavor of the broth while having that pleasant brown rice taste. What really got me hooked though was the texture. The grains were full, with just a little bit of bite to them. No mushy or uneven rice here! I'll never buy any other rice. One bowl and I've seen the light.

Great tasting rice & very affordable. It's a shorter grain, and worked well in sushi. I did slice open the bag while opening the box, so be careful when opening the package.For perfectly cooked rice in an Instant Pot, use 1:1 water/rice ratio, 22 min high pressure, NPR.

My roommate and I bought this at the beginning of the pandemic because it was literally the only rice we could get our hands on, online or in person, and I don't know what to say about it except that it's rice. Nice flavour, good value, and surprisingly fancy packaging.

The best brown rice I have ever had, period. These have the classic chewy taste of brown rice and take their sweet time (40 min) to cook in a pot. I can put them on the first thing of a meal prep and they are done by the time rest of the stuff is ready. The texture is really nice and these aren’t sticky.

I didn't see any review from Canada, so thought of posting one. I have tasted brown rice before and never really enjoyed it. This has more cooking time, so I ended up doing pressure cook and it looked sticky (because of pressure cooker) and it wasn't appealing. But when you microwave it before eating, its not that sticky and I have to comment that it taste amazing. I never expected brown rice to be this great tasting. I don't think i'll go back to white rice anymore. Very happy with the purchase.

Cheap bulk brown rice, relatively tasty and wholesome, cooks well. Suggest store in sealed glass, fridge or freezer to prevent bugs getting in. Refrigeration will also prolong freshness as this package could take a while to consume.

Love this brand. Great quality. Nice firm texture. Was happy to find it on amazon, I usually purchase this in store.
