Utility and Reliability !
Happy to have it for its utility & reliability ! Awesome clock. Silent with no ticking ! A Note : The battery (Alkaline vs Carbon Zinc) is irrelevant. Get whichever you prefer. The Only restriction is don't mix alkaline and carbon-zinc in the battery compartment at the same time.

Very nice clock
Very nice clock since it's so quiet and no noise at all. The size is perfect for my living room. I have purchased a couple before but they are just ticking too loudly. I'm so glad to find this clock and I'll highly recommend it.

Smooth, Noiseless Second Hand, Clock Is Easy to Read
Three years ago, I bought a two-pack of IKEA wall clocks for $11.30. When I went to buy two more, I found they were now $30.99 each! Total price gouging. So, I searched for wall clocks and found these. Though the price was almost double what I paid before, I decided to buy them. What I Like:1. Face is easy to read from a distance.2. Quiet.3. Smooth motion of the second hand.4. The clean font. What I Don’t Like:1. The black border which reminds me of clocks in grade school and industrial clocks. The reason I loved the IKEA clocks was because their borders were translucent, so they nicely matched the decor of any room you put them in. No reason this manufacturer can’t offer the same as IKEA no longer sells the clocks with the translucent frames. Some tips:1. The battery fits tightly, which is good but makes installation challenging. I recommend inserting the positive end in first. Then, the negative end slides in easily.2. This clock comes with a plastic hanger and 4 small nails. It was really easy to overlook these because they were loose in the box. While a nice day thought, this hanging system as provided is not practical for installation on drywall because the nails are too short. We ended up using molly bolts because we had them. But, plastic anchors and screws would be the more common solution. The picture illustrates the hanger and nails in the ziplock bag.

Doesn’t keep time, regardless of battery type
Did not keep time right out of the box. The hands moved around the dial for a few minutes, then stopped. Repeatedly. I used carbon zinc, alkaline and even rechargeable batteries with no difference. After 24 hours - knowing it’s not worth returning - I took it the clock apart to make sure the hands weren’t contacting each other or the cover. They weren’t.So I bought another movement and replaced it. It works just fine now. Paying this price for the plastic housing and cardboard with the clock numerals on it wasn’t bad. But it’s a good thing I knew how to build a clock from parts...

Will not last as a “silent” clock
I bought this clock in March of 2019 and it was completely silent. We are now on the first day of October 2019 so 6 months later and the clock mechanism is ticking and making noice louder and more annoying than a regular “ticking” clock. Very disappointed that this clock only lasted 6 months. It does keep time, but makes a racket doing it.My advice would be to spend a little more money and get a better quality clock if you enjoy silent timekeeping.

Large & Readable, Good Customer Service (via Amazon)
I liked the size and clarity of the dial but it did not keep accurate time. It lost 3 seconds every 24 hours. That works out to 1-1/2 minutes a month; 18 minutes a year! If that is an acceptable variance for you, okay; but we intend to use it in our church and we need accurate time, especially since it will be located in a place that needs a ladder to access it.UPDATE: The company replaced the defective clock without question. The new clock seems to be keeping accurate time.
