UJK Bandsaw Buddy

Made setting up my bandsaw so much simpler. Setting up table square with blade. And fence too. Expensive for what it is. But worth every penny, for the ease it gives in setting saw up

I bought this as I was convinced by YouTubers that my cuts were bad due to a badly setup bandsaw. However, once the fence is set square to the blade, I won’t need it again, so really is a waste of money. It looks nice though!

It's a great tool and it does the job that it is supposed to do. The only issue, for me, is that it's hard to keep it attached correctly with narrow blades e.g. 6mm as the location of the magnets is optimized for wider blades.

Set up a bandsaw with this little guy and it worked great especially setting up the fence.It also has a few other tricks up it's sleeve. I am glad that I bought it.

Very handy tool to use with my band saw. Good quality item as well.

The bar was bowed and did not sit dead flat on a machined surface. I straightened it to stop it from rocking because I did not see any point in sending it back to get a placement. The problem with the design is that the top of the plate has unnecessary recesses milled through the middle. The magnets should be flush with the top of the plate so that all bandsaw blades over two inches can be aligned. This has the makings of a useful tool but has to be a flat plate without any recesses.

this sorted out my band saw run off issue in 2 minutes. Discovered fence / table markings were not synced.

Thought twice before buying because it is expensive for what it is. However this tool saves time and helps you set up your band saw accurately. Would recommend, just wish it was a bit cheaper!
