Ahmad Tea Ceylon Tea - 500g Loose Leaf Tea

Top quality blend. Probably the best I've ever had and that includes Fortnums, Whittards and Twinings. I finished the tin and have bought the 600g refill. Excellent price and superb fresh flavour. I couldn't rate it more highly.

This makes a delicious pot of tea! Loads of flavour but still smooth! I re-steep the leaves to get the maximum value, and I wouldn’t go back to tea bags now.

Taste is very personal. My preferred tea is pure Assam leaf tea which is a full bodied and quite smooth tea. This Ceylon tea is more astringent and dare I say bitter in comparison. As a straight brew it isn't to my liking, but rather than throw it away as a error in purchasing I tried blending it with my Assam. And what a transformation! There are times when I would have preferred more pep with my Assam and this Ceylon tea is just the ticket. For one serving of Assam leaf I've experimented with blends of roughly 1/4 to 1/2 of added Ceylon and keeping the same brewing time of 3 minutes as for pure Assam. I was very surprised at the transformation in the overall tasting experience. I still have the overall body of the assam, but the blend now has more get up and go, so to speak. I've settled on a ratio of 1/4 to 1/3rd of Ceylon.

This is excellent tea. I use it with diy teabags and also to make a kind of homebrew breakfast blend, with a 70/30 mixture of Assam to Ceylon, which my wife likes (and is pretty close to an expensive ready-made breakfast blend, to the extent that she didn't notice when I switched!) Lovely, in both manifestations!

Really decent brew . Keep buying T bags and not enjoying my cuppa . Got me old Nannas T pot out and thought I’d go back to basics. Glad I did , definitely worth the price.

Decent Ceylon tea that doesn't taste bitter or burnt. A 1lbs brick of loose tea for what is basically pocket change. Can't beat that. Some reviewers commented on the flavour not being strong. If you prefer a really powerful tea then try Assam or just add a bit more tea to your brew - don't steep for longer.

الشاي السيلاني من ألذ أنواع الشاي . هذا النوع يعتبر الوحيد السيلاني مع شاي الوزة الذي أتمنى ان أراه هنا في أمازون. شاي أحمد الورق ممتاز في الجودة والرائحة وعمق الطعم .للاسف زادت أسعاره مؤخرا ولكن يظل الشاي المفضل لدي .
