I have purchased no less than a dozen different battery operated lights to use on my outdoor wreaths and these are the ONLY ones that have met all qualifications I wanted:-battery operated-timer-green wire that blends with green wreath/tree/garland-larger than usual bright bulbs that are clear and not opaque white when not on (trust me the white opaque ones look great when lit at night but tacky during the day when not on)BONUS...-LOTS OF LIGHTS ON EACH STRAND-LOWEST PRICED!!!At first, I was hesitant because of other reviews about the lights being dim... and when I first put in the battery's it looked a little like the lights closer to the battery pack were brighter than those on the string farther away from it. But once it got on my wreath it looked great. I also wonder if it depends on the battery you use? I used new ones from the dollar store.I have spent hours shopping for lights like these both online and at home depot, michaels, walmart, etc. and I hope with my review I can save you the headache.I will add pictures to the review once it is dark enough outside that I can take a picture of the brightness.

I used these for our daughters wedding to high light our pine trees in our island. They worked out beautifully! Automatic timer comes on every night and goes out automatically. Great battery operated string lights and many lighting functions. We used the constant on, but they work great!

These are amazing. Put them on some light posts 3 weeks before Christmas and the batteries of one string finally ran out of juice! And this is the first week of February.
