Go Walk in GoWalks!
I love Sketchers!! That said, I walk for health and generally cover between 3 to 6 miles on each walk. I started with shoes that had a more rigid sole and ended up suffering skin splints and my feet always felt like I was dragging a ton of extra weight. My first pass at a lighter shoe was with the Sketcher GoRun line. I love them and will still walk in them but the sole is very thin (to keep the weight for runners down) and I found they are consistently 1/2 small. That is no problem as long as you know ahead of time and order slightly larger than what you normally wear. The toe box also narrows a bit.I had seen the Sketcher GoWalk shoes but initially they only had very blah colors. I finally broke down and bought a pair and what a great surprise. I just finished a 4 miles walk and they exceeded my every expectation. Unlike the GoRun the insole of the GoWalk is not removable but it is made from what they refer to as a GoMat insole and it is wonderfully comfortable. The sole is about 20% thicker, the toe box is slightly wider, and the size is right on. All of these differences make this the perfect shoe for me.The overall comfort is everything you could ask for. With the GoRun I feel every little pebble I step on. Since I am not jogging on a track or always on well paved streets this can lead to the occasional uncomfortable surprise when planting my foot without seeing that I might be stepping on some obstacle. The GoWalk has a slightly firmer but very resilient sole and heel counter that transfers good sensitivity to my feet without feeling like I am stepping on the occasional sharp boulder. The heel offers a lot of cushion on the heel strike but very good stability. The pattern of the nubs on the fore-sole almost offer a massage sensation as my foot rolls through my stride. Even with orthotics inserted the GoMat insole still offers a lot of stable cushioning for my feet. The upper part of the shoe is well ventilated. The shoes I got are black and it was a fairly warm and sunny day and my feet never felt overheated. After wearing them all day at work and logging 4 miles today, I haven't found a single thing to not like about these shoes. If I had any comment for "improvement" it would be to offer a more expansive color line as is offered with the GoRuns. It might also be nice if the shoe tongue was stitched all the way up as the GoRuns are. I didn't have any problem with the tongue slipping down or around but I really like the more firmly fixed position of the GoRun tongue.I really look forward to logging a lot of miles in the shoes and plan on immediately buying another pair just so I can rotate and not get tired of looking down at my feet in the same old pair. Even shoes need a rest every now and then.

Great shoes!
I really like these shoes! At 71, I try to walk a couple of miles every morning, weather permitting. I've been wearing the Skechers shape ups for several years and really liked them because of the thick sole cushioning, but since they stopped making them I was worried about what to replace them with. I took a chance on these, mostly because of the reviews and I couldn't be happier. They don't have as much cushion as the shape ups but are just as comfortable and are, without a doubt, the lightest shoes I have ever worn. The size was perfect and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a really comfortable walking shoe.

Like walking on a cloud
For me they were a little small so I had to go a size larger than I normally purchase. By small I mean they were too short and my toes were right up against the toe of the shoe. My normal size felt a little tight all round. I could wear them, but I suspect the shoes would have worn out before their intended lifespan - probably the sewn seams splitting open. The slightly larger size resolved that and feels very comfortable. My feet hurt all the time and have searched for comfortable shoes for years. These are the shoes. The thickly padded insole and the cushiony outsole really make a difference. I'm on my feet all day at work and these really make a difference. I don't think I would recommend them for your daily run or walking on asphalt. I expect the soft tread would quickly deteriorate from constant friction with the rough surface. I don't know this for a fact, but I love these shoes too much to take the chance. As far as wearing them on the hard linoleum floor at work they are fantastic and give me great relief. They style is nothing to boast about and some might call it ugly, but I'll take comfort over style just about any time. I've been wearing the same pair to work every day for eight months and the shoes are doing just fine. I like these well enough that I have a second pair waiting in their box for when my current pair do finally wear out and will probably buy a third pair to backup those. I always recommend these to anyone who complains to me that their feet hurt and I'm recommending them to you. I suggest going to a local merchant, if possible, to try them on and find the right fit for you. Then order them online. You're unlikely to find a better deal than you see right here. (At the time of this writing.) Especially if you are a Prime member and get free shipping.

Best show I have worn so far!
I normally don't write reviews as I never really feel a product may deserve it. These shoes however do deserve a review.I wasn't to sure about buying a pair of shoes online would be a good idea. But I have made many purchases using Amazon and am always happy with the return/exchange policy. So now I'm turning 50 and my feet require better and more comfortable support. These Sketcher Go Walk 2 sneakers are awesome. Literally the words that exited my mouth after I put them on and started walking in them was "Wow! Awesome!".I have the Go Walk slip on's and really like them too. But they don't look good with wearing shorts. So that's why I bought these. Also the support for the foot and your calf is better with these shoes. They have the cushion sole and now a quarter inch memory foam (called goga mat technology) inside the show that really makes it feel like your walking on air.Even if you don't have old feet, but walk or stand a lot, I think you would be happy with these shoes. I know I am.
