Just replace the shower head!!
The shower head on our Moen shower system fell and broke into pieces. I was concerned that we would need to replace the entire unit including the sliding bar, and I was concerned that the screws for the sliding bar might not line up- which might require us to redo the entire shower. But thank God I found this replacement shower head. I screwed it on without any tools, and it works great!

Previous shower head had broken and was in need of a comparable replacement. Luckily found this and was pleased at the quality of the shower. Easy to install and operate. Good purchase.

Lighter than the previous model. Had to replace the old one as it was broken. This is lighter, slightly wider but water pressure is good even with regulator. Of course you can remove the pressure regulator. Worth the money

Colour wasn't exactly right - it was lighter than the other 'brushed nickel' Moen fixtures in the bathroom. But it has worked ok so far.
