Good product. worth it

This is a good set of 3 glass containers which come with lids made of sturdy plastic and a vent to release vapour, which affords ease of use. The containers provide varying capacities - the largest is 1 L the medium one is 620 ML and the smallest one is 400 ML. The company claims that these are borosilicate glass, I’m not sure how to check or confirm that so am taking their word for it. For one thing, the glass isn’t very heavy and doesn’t feel too delicate, that is beyond the general delicacy of glass! The containers have worked well in the microwave - with the food heating up without the glass doing so. Talking about the lids - the rubber seals, for airtight closure, appear to be of good quality and the plastic feels sturdy... although it is early days still since my usage has been only a few weeks - I would comment on longevity after a couple of months perhaps. These rubber seals can get stained (with turmeric in particular that is used heavily in Indian cuisine) quite easily so one should be careful if that is something one is concerned about. The only point about the lids is the clipping/locking mechanism which isn’t the strongest at times and the clip may open up easily - although never from all sides at the same time so it is safe to hold and carry about.

It's a healthy and cute alternative for storing food items, especially in the refrigerator. The container is air tight, leak proof and being glass, easy to clean. Except the small container, all have a pressure release valve. The lid is transparent so that you can see the content. It also save storage space owing to its rectangular shape. It's depth is also apt for a food storage container. I would recommend this product as a healthy investment for all home makers.
