Filowa Date and Temperature Smart Digital Alarm Clock with Automatic Sensor Backlight (White)

Works as per the description. Easy setup and operation. The alarm makes sound similar to a electronic beep sound, no option to change it. The LCD is clear if you look at it straight but washes out with slight angled view in backlit mode. Very costly for the functionality and LCD quality.

The plastic quality is cheap. The time on the LCD screen is not visible from lower angle i.e. when placed at certain height. I placed it just over the wardrobe (6 feet high) and I could not see the time on the LCD screen. It is best when placed on table/ bed.

The media could not be loaded.  ➡ I never have been a fan of digital clocks but this finally converted me over.➡ I like that you can turn off the sensor since I don't need a night light. People who needs dim night light they are for sure going to love this.➡ It even gives you the accurate room temperature in C or F.➡ The most attractive and useful feature for me is the night light sensor that keeps a low intensity backlight on so the clock display can be seen without having to press any button at night.➡ Setting the time, date, and alarm is also so simple and intuitive. (Please watch the video to understand all the features in detail)➡ The wake up alarm is easy on the ears...starts with a single beep every second, then after 10 seconds or so, the alarm sounds 2 beeps every second before eventually going to 3 beeps per second. After 60 seconds the alarm sound will stop.➡ The only slightly negative comment about the clock is that it runs on 3 thin batteries (AAA) instead of this it would have been great if it could have come with a rechargeable battery feature/option.➡ I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too. UPDATE: Threw away the clock today Feb 2020. Display completely faded away making difficult to read digits. I thought it was battery issue. But it was not.Orig. post.: Seems a bit pricey for a plastic clock. but then there is no other that looks as good as this. I was expecting this to feel at least 20% bigger in hand irl. Even though I bought this after reading all reviews etc posted here. Sensors etc function well however the viewing angle and contrast varies vastly making it appear too dim even with backlight on. I am assuming there has top be some minimum distance of viewing cos I'm using it more like shelf clock than a desk clock. lights up brightly through the night. I bought it for some discounted price. Waking up early in the morning or need to know the time at midnight, what’s the temperature today don’t know then what’s the solution. We purchased two or three of these clocks to replace very similar ones from another vendor. The clocks functioned for a month or so, before the digital displays malfunctioned. At first, you could see the display from a certain angle only, whereas the numbers would disappear from any other. Later on, the display simply ceased to function properly.I would advise spending a little more money on more reliable products. As of now, I have only ONE of these functioning clocks and God only knows when it will cease functioning.DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS. THE QUALITY CHECKS ARE NON-EXISTENT.

The digits started fading within an hour in spite of the fact that all the AAA Cells were new! Can't see from any angle...This is the second desktop Clock I bought which is faulty. I got the first one refunded. Now as the time is over now, only option is to throw away. I rarely had this kind of horrible experience from Amazon for the last several years. And in spite of being a Prime Member now. Sad...Didnt want to give any star but cant move forward. So gave 1 Star.
