( RJ45 / LAN cable )No need of changing / updating the Firmware.Please find the below steps to configure the DSL-2750U for new firmware IN_1.08.1. Connect RJ45 cable to LAN1 port of router to your computer or Laptop.2. Open Dlink webpage to configure router 192.168.1.1.3. Login with default password admin, if you have not yet set any password.4. In Setup Tab, goto Local Network --> Keep the settings as default only uncheck Enable DHCP and save the Changes.5. Select Wireless, In Wireless Basic Uncheck the MultiAP Isolation. Give your any name of your choice for your wireless network for SSID and save the changes.6.Select Wireless Security, Select wireless Security as Auto. Do not make any changes scroll down to end of the page. Change the Shared Pkey, remember this key is used to connect to wireless network.7. As per the information provided by DLink executive it has three types of versions i.e C1, U1, and V1. Version C1 has 2 dBI antennas only. Versions U1 and V1 have 5 dBI antennas. Version V1 is the latest version. The type of version is mentioned near the bar code and the serial number of the product box. Please confirm and check the version of the product before accepting the delivery from the courier person.

I have bsnl broadband connection. Will I be able to connect my existing telephone cable to this product?

Hi, I purchased this product last month from Amazon India. I am using BSNL broadband like you. You will get a all required connectors in the box to connect with this Modem. I have faced no issues so far.
