Great Gift
I bought my own when these first came out which was over 20 years ago. I've used it frequently and it's still in good shape, even after dropping it several times. I've bought many for gifts since then. It works as described. Sometimes, particularly with a chunky bracelet, it may slip off the clip but persevere; it will work. I'll be giving this to a friend who was lamenting the fact that she can't put her bracelets on by herself. She'll be pleasantly surprised, no doubt. I highly recommend this especially for those with hand issues, such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc. It makes it so easy to put your bracelets on. You can even use it to hold your watch strap to make it easier to put on. A definite good buy.

Finally, I can get my bracelets on in seconds.
I have several bracelets and I always had so much trouble getting them on. I live with two cats but they are not a very big help at all. I found this item and ordered it. I think it was a little pricey given the fact that it's made entirely of plastic but I gave it five stars as it's been a huge benefit to me. What used to take forever now takes less than a minute, bracelet is on and I'm ready to go. Clothes are on too I might add but it doesn't help much with them. It's also very attractive so I leave it out on my shelf in the bedroom. I don't think there will be any issues with it being made from plastic as there really isn't any pressure on it. Just grab the clasp and hold it correctly and it's great. It holds it so it doesn't keep slipping off while you're trying to hook it together, just what I needed.

Works Quite Well
I originally searched out this product for my 87 yr old mother-in-law who found it nearly impossible to put on her jewelry, but quickly realized the wisdom of ordering one for myself, too. The Bracelet Buddy works pretty well, and allows me to fasten my own bracelets instead of needing to ask my husband for help all the time. I have arthritis in my hands, but I am still able to use it effectively. On the downside, I have one bracelet whose clasp design is such that the Bracelet Buddy doesn't hold it very well, meaning I still struggle with that particular piece. Also, the fancy handle is plastic and, to my way of thinking, too light and kind of cheezy for the price. But, I don't plan on putting it in a display cabinet so I guess that part doesn't matter.

Great help for people with Arthritis and/or no extra hands
This a a tremendous help for anyone who either has arthritis, or for anyone who doesn't have an extra set of hands. It really does work well for helping you get your bracelets on. It is relatively easy to use and easy to hang onto. The designs actually make it easier to find a grip on the device. There are a couple things, though, that made me take a star off: It is plastic, and I am afraid that it will break sooner rather than later. The other thing is the clip can be hard to work if you do have arthritis, it seems a little stiff. I am sure that because of the stiffness, the clip will last a little longer.

Bracelet Buddy...So Simple...So Helpful!!!
For a simple little piece of plastic (that is actually kind of cute), this has been so helpful!!! I needed it for my Trollbead bracelet (which would mean it would probably help out you Pandora, Camilla, and other bracelet folk, too). The beads are so heavy on my Trollbead bracelet that the bracelet tended to pull off my wrist while I was trying to latch it. Plus, the beads make the bracelet a bit tighter as well, which makes latching tough. I just could NOT get this bracelet on without help (and sometimes, no one's around!). In fact, I even resorted to a trick my friend told me to try by putting a piece of floss through the ringlet loop and holding the floss between my teeth while I latched it. It worked, but the floss would sometimes slip (not to mention I was worried about my teeth...and also not to mention that is just looked weird). : )Needless to say, the bracelet buddy makes a simple thing like latching one's own bracelt so much easier! No problems now. This is quite a helpful little gadget.

After a couple of months it doesn't grip very well
I loved this product when I first received it. But it already doesn't work very well. The spring doesn't cause as much tension as it used to, which means that the my bracelets usually slip out of the grip before I can clasp them. You can see in the picture how it no longer closes all the way. If you have a thick bracelet, it might still work, but not for the small ones I use.

Works well but takes getting used to
Got it for my grandmother for her James Avery bracelet and once you get the hang of how to use it and what works best for you it’s convenient and definitely helped her. It’s light weight and easy to hold.

It saves so much aggravation from struggling to put on my bracelets.
I have arthritis in my hands & that makes it so difficult to attach those tiny clasps on my bracelets. I knew it was a cheap plastic when I purchased it, but I haven't had any problems with it breaking. It does what it's supposed to. I like the plastic teeth which won't scratch my jewelry. At first it felt awkward trying to hold it steady in one hand & hook the clasp with the other due to my arthritis, but I got the hang of it & it works great. A simple little gadget that I never knew I needed until I tried it & now I don't want to be without. It saves so much aggravation from struggling to put on my bracelets.
