Quick delivery; a must read
It's a very nice book. I have read it twice now, and everytime you re-read it.. it just starts to make more sense. The best part about this book are the real life senarios, and the online questionaires. However, there were minor scratches on the cover. Everything else was as expected. Quick delivery too

Like I said above
I bought this book out of greediness. So, I haven't read Daniel Goleman's Emotional Intelligence. I thought Emotional Intelligence 2.0 is going to give me much more and hence bought it. Full marks to the marketing guys on job for this book. I was very surprised Daniel's name is not mentioned anywhere in the book, given that he was the most popular proponent of the Emotional Intelligence phenomenon. There are a few mention I felt uncomfortable with.1. Like I said above, I would have liked to see Preface written by Daniel Goleman, but clearly this miss speaks what is going on in the Emotional Intelligence industry :-).2. The "thank you" notes lists about 7-8 people. Rather than mentioned what they do, their academic degrees is mentioned. I feel the author or publisher just wanted to hide information for increasing sales.3. There is some mentioned about Intelligence is the ability to learn.. and that ability is same at 15 yrs and 50 yrs of age. That was tough to digest. I think this is not true.Since I haven't read Daniel Goleman's Emotional Intelligence "1.0", I cannot fully comment what exactly is the subject about, but end of the day, as a human being, if you are empathetic and compassionate to your co-worker/neighbour/partner, then that is what this book is all about. It is Ok for one read, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this to anyone.Rgds,Gokul
