Horrible product. The company needs to use these evaluations and change the product. It is runny, it doesn't dry fast, so your students get impatient waiting and waiting for it to dry. It does not resist dye. It does not penetrate fabric even if soda ash washed. If you submerge your article of clothing or rinse dye out in water the stamped batik image goes away. Now Im beginning to think using a hot wax method is the only way to go but not with small children. I learned on YouTube, washable glue works as a resist, but again, YOU MUST LET IT DRY THOROUGHLY. This process is at least a two day process.

Better than Jaquards. This doesn't spread as much.

Once u dip it in water the product rinses out.

I bought this product to use in my high school art class as an alternative to the traditional wax technique for batik. I was excited by the idea of a safer, cleaner way to resist dyes; however, I was greatly disappointed with the effectiveness of the Batik-Ez. It did not penetrate the pre-washed muslin fabric we used so my students had to apply layers to both sides of their fabric and in the end the resist washed off in the dye bath anyways. Not a single project turned out and all of my students were very upset. We basically wasted 2 weeks of class because of this useless product. Although the traditional wax approach has it's own drawbacks at least you can guarrentee that it will work. I will never use this product again.

This makes you cry yourself to sleep. Seriously. I have never felt so betrayed in my entire life. This will make you the saddest person in the world.
