Kydex Sheath for the Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter

Came earlier than i expected, especially considering i ordered during the holiday season. The product is much much better than the stock sheath and retains the knife very well, while leaving it super accessible. Would recommend.Edit (after ~1 year of daily use):The product is holding up great! Pictures are from today. I wear the product on a leather steel core Bullbelt. These belts are very thick, so the leather portion of this sheath really molded to it and fits quite securely. The kydex portion is reasonably thick, so I imagine it will last a long time. The leather portion is holding up incredibly, and I imagine it will be good long after I'm gone. Maybe its possibly to just order a kydex replacement portion if you ever need to.I did add some blue loctite to the screws. There is a slight wobble when the sheath is off the belt. I can't appreciate it when it is on belt. If you hold it by the sheath and give it a good shake downward, it retains the blade so I still trust it. Sad to see the price went up, I kinda wanted to try the 45° angle. My understanding is you can get it cheaper on the seller's website.The best feature about this sheath is the area to push off with your thumb. It is so satisfying, you might find yourself playing with from time to time.Another advantage is it is actually usable, unlike the factory one. Hope this helps in your purchase decision. I highly recommend, and would go back to this seller again, but I seriously doubt I will need to on this knife.

The knife does not fit the sheath with any sort of retention. The blade hits the rivets on the end before it locks in place. Contacted the seller and let’s just say that’s not the best experience. Be prepared to pay out of your own pocket to ship something back so they can correct their problem.

Arrive a week earlier than I expected. I hesitated on buying this due to the price. $80 for a sheath to fit a $120 knife seemed rediculous. After the sheaths arrival I see why the cost. Its build is far superior to the stock benchmade. You can feel the differance in the leather alone and the knife fits like a glove. Happy with my purchase and to support a true craftsman.

Great little sheath for Your special knife. Fits like a glove and is perfect to use with a belt. Very good quality, a deal for the price. Slip fit holds well but still easy to deploy
