Excellent tool for DIY Projects
I bought this for a few small DIY projects and found this to be the cheapest one. I was initially spectical about this being a China made product but after researching found almost all other brands are actually made in China. A few reviews of this product helped me choose this one and I am happy that I made this choice. The material I used was a WPC board which is much softer material than a Plyboard but the quality so far with this material has been excellent. The package does not come with a router bit. The accessories are not flimsy and are equivalent to Bosch in terms of quality and design but cheaper by almost 50%. Anyone looking for a trimmer/router I would recommend this one for sure.

Got different brand product
As from the listing its Dongcheng mentioned, I got Gaocheng brand & it was company sealed pack. Everything else same. For me its ok for its colour, more look like Bosch. It looks professional.On/off switch on the top which for me is bad position while fast switching situation. Depth setting is not smooth. Performance is good, but I used just for a small project till now. Cord quality is very good and lengthy. Its compatible only for 6.35mm bits. 6mm bits are always loose no matter how you tightened the bits. So only buy 6.35mm bits.Product got many scratches at different places due to Amazon's transport handling.

Good for budget
Machine is sturdy but thats glass/fiber this is like k not that much great ,i am rare user so 350w is k for me also i am not using it for hard wood so i dont know about that but i think it can do fine if u spend some extra time to cut but if u wat faster performance then for 550 r above i wouldn't say this has low performance but obviously motor power matter for hobby this is k to maintain it cheap

Value for money
Used it for sometime. Its good for hobby work. Can do heavy work but takes a lot of patience as the power is only 350w. But at this price its worth buying. Easily found the bits for the trimmer at a local shop.Power switch is somewhat inconviently placed. Push switch with locking could have been better at convienient place.Attachments included are very handy for people like me who arent professionals at wood working.Overall a worth buy at this price.

Good for small work but with cons
Its a good small machine, with lots of vibration as it uses 1/4 router bit. Plus lot of noise its like a deep noise very frustrating while working around home. Plus no control over speed its raw power which doesn't comes in play everytime.Otherwise a good motor with heavy noise

Convenient tool for smaller routing jobs.
Fairly compact in size and definitely a more economical purchase compared to trim routers of Bosch and Makita. At 350 Watts limitations do exists and maybe some more effort is required when compared to a plunge router. A few shallow 'runs' need to be executed on the workpiece (wood being routed) to reach the planned depth. A deep 'run' does strain the unit and that may not be advisable. Softer wood like MDF may allow for deep 'runs' but definitely not plywood or blockboard. The accessories provided are good enough and can even be used to create circular grooves but for small circles. Since it is a single speed router, there is no 'soft start' and a small jerk does exist when switched on. The acrylic casing moves along a rack with the help of a geared thumb wheel and needs a bit of effort to set the bit extension. English in the user manual is fairly good in terms of guidance and most aspects are covered. Print quality could however be better. I paid Rs. 1998 but it is available for Rs. 1850 in physical stores. It came with a 1/4 inch (6.35mm) collet and I scored the hardware & tools market in Bangalore in my search for suitable bits. Most shops declared that 6.35mm shank bits are not available but I proved them wrong as one store provided me with a box with a 12 bit set of the Jon Bhandari brand (Chinese import for sure). I had taken the collet with me and it fitted perfectly on the shanks. Pricing of the 12 bit set was a lot lower than what online stores were quoting. I paid Rs. 700 which seemed very fair. I even purchased a 6mm collet for Rs. 50 ( based on the fact most shops had 6mm shank bits). Makita had a 12 bit set priced around Rs. 2200 but of shank size 6mm.All in all pleased with the buy and I have experimented with it to understand its limitations and capabilities. It will prove useful especially if a plunge router is proving bulky for the job.
