I am getting my floors redone (stained and polyurathaned) and we have movers delivering furniture, would these be best for the hardwood floors?

I just purchased these and they are perfect for hardwood floors. They're non skid so falling from slippery floors wouldn't be an issue.

Are these at all waterproof? (for coming in from the rain & keeping your wet shoes off of the dry floor)
