Great if you're okay with filling it up right before.
I live in dorms with only communal bathrooms, and they only provide us with one ply toilet paper because our university tries to reduce waste. It's a great intention, but you have to be ready to spend a while wiping and then feeling gross afterwards anyway. I've been hoping to get an apartment at the school this year so I could install an attachable bidet, but we had a giant housing crisis so I have to use communal bathrooms again. I'd been whining to my roommates and friends about how I did not want to spend another year feeling unclean after every bathroom trip, especially in the hot months when I want to stay hydrated but feel disgusting from going so often.I was thrilled when I found out that portable bidets exist because it's the next best thing. This does leak when turned over, but putting your finger over the top opening helps a lot. The amount of water is fine for cleaning up for urinating but I haven't been brave enough to try using without toilet paper or after defecating. I use it every time I go and I feel so much cleaner than if I didn't. I'm also excited to use this after spending time with romantic partners, for times I don't have time to shower afterward or want to be discrete if they have housemates. This will definitely leave me feeling a lot cleaner and more confident without wanting to shower multiple times a day. I can finally stay really hydrated without expecting to feel gross. I also appreciate the pouch it comes with.I do want to warn people with vaginas that using this from the back could spread bacteria and cause both vaginal and urinary tract infections. I would advise you only spray from the front, or first spray the back and then pee and spray the front. (It's the same idea as peeing after intercourse to get rid of bacteria in your urethra.)I'd love if this allowed you to carry it around while containing water, instead of having to fill up right before. The ones that do that are more expensive, though, and this product is good for the price.

OK PRODUCT
Had trouble putting my index finger on the squeeze bottle end and then squeezing> DIFFICULT! Yep> it does splash all over but is a good size for portability. Probably the Toto Washlet version is more accurate if not more expensive. Plastic is medium heavy and should last. It works fairly well but don't understand why we should pay $16 just for a squeeze bottle and nozzle.The nozzle does fit inside the bottle itself which is a good feature. Would prefer a different colour> Think I will try a spray bottle from $ Store just to compare effectiveness. Many readers have recommended 1-2 tsps of witch hazel, hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar in the water mixture. THIS I really appreciate as hope it will help and may soothe those painful tissues.

Goodbye Toilet Paper, Hello Primary Cleaning Device
~~~Info~~~Weight: ~57 g = 2 oz (empty)Capacity/Volume: 285 ml (285 g) = 9.6 ozHeight: 223 mm = 8.78"Width of (Bulb) Opening: 29 mm+++ Pros++++ Consistent (multiple-stream) spray that goes all in the same direction (super-important) & is strong enough to clean without putting the nozzle too close to your privates+ Wide bottle opening makes fill-up easy+ High-quality construction+ Feels like it was built to last+ Easy to screw on & tighten the wide top (that doesn't leak even if you don't have the top 100% tight)-- important if you have any kind of grip issues.+ Bulb (blue base) is easy to squeeze+ Contoured shape makes it easy to hold & maneuver+ Has a small metal valve on the bottom that allows you to fill it up without plugging the hole (on the bottom)+ Does not leak when left sitting upright+ Begins spraying immediately (without squeezing) as soon as you invert the bottle and take your finger off the metal valve (on the bottom)+ Variable water pressure: It sprays a gentle, easy to control arc without squeezing, but squeezing will produce a stronger spray+ Holds enough water to get the job done+ Angle of the head makes it easy to control where you're spraying+ Good size for travel--- Cons ---- You must put your finger over the tiny metal valve on the bottom when you invert the bottle or it will start spraying immediately and you'll make a mess.- Depending on the mess you're trying to clean up, 285 ml / 9.6 oz may not be enough water to get the job done. It's fine for regular cleaning of urine & fecal material, but if you're sick or on your period, you may need to refill.*** Notes **** The wider-than-average opening on the bulb makes this particular bidet really easy to fill up, which is an important factor if you have to fill up twice while sitting on the toilet. This is a feature most will not appreciate until they use this bidet to clean up a large mess.* Put your finger over the metal valve on the bottom before you invert the bottle. It will start spraying the second you remove your finger from the seal.* The top can be inverted and (with some work) can be pushed into the bulb for easier carrying/transport* The top & bottom convex sections of the bulb are stiffer than the concave middle. When you're unscrewing the head, hold on to the top or bottom portions for better grip on the bulb.* You'll use WAY less toilet paper (if any at all) once you get used to using a bidet.* This isn't designed to completely eliminate the use of toilet paper, but it'll probably replace it as the primary cleaning tool/method of waste removal. Toilet paper will become secondary or even tertiary (used just for drying off).
Disappointed
I bought this portable bidet to use at home, at first to get used to it. I have found that when it is full, you have to stand it on its side or it leaks. Consequently, to avoid leaking, you have to fill it immediately before using, and empty it completely during use. I would prefer to be able to fill it after using to be ready for the next use and to allow the water to come to room temperature, but because of the leak factor this is not possible. I have also used the Panasonic portable bidet, and that only lasted for about a month before it quit working altogether. I guess it's back to the drawing board for me.
