I use this item every day. It works great with my Note 8, 9, 10plus. This item even works with my Tablets , my Galaxy Tab S4 & Even My brand new Galaxy Tab S6. The picture quality is excellent. It Works great with Samsung DeX. You can't beat this device!!!

Works exactly as needed for my Note 9.
I wanted something that would allow me to connect my Note 9 to my HDMI monitor. This does exactly that.Simply connect your phone to the adapter, the adapter to an HDMI cable, and the cable to your monitor/TV. No wifi required.

Waste of money
Keeps flickering in and out of DEX or screen mirroring mode. Or sometimes it just wont work at all without messing with the HDMI cord that connects into the cable. Tried it on 3 different TV's with 3 different HDMI cords. Finally just went out and bought the DEX cable from my provider and it worked just fine. Might as well spend the extra money to get it from whoever you got your phone through.

Works great for Note 9
Used this with my Note 9 and a pico projector for cookies. So glad that I was finally able to get it to cast. Tried other cables and nothing worked until this.

Not for movie viewing
Unfortunately, this is not what I was looking for. It projects your entire phone onto the screen. If you want to view a specific app, say to view a movie or look at your email, that app Only pops up in a tiny viewer. The rest of the screen is your phone's homescreen. You control the cursor on your phone if your screen isn't touch enabled. There is no way to make it viewable on a full screen. May work for people trying to do a last resort presentation for work or an interview. But not for watching Netflix, or Amazon Prime Videos.

Cable disconnet very often
I'm happy with video/audio quality, the only issue is the constant disconnection from the Note 9. It is really uncomfortable while viewing a movie you have to stand up se eral times to unplug and then plug back in feom phone.
