He thoroughly enjoyed it, while my mum was making jigsaws during lock down my dad was stuck into this. Loved the complexity of it, and did in stages. Brought back memories of child hood with Meccano

this is a top job to constrction

Very good value compared to lego. But the hydrulic cylinder seal broke within a week. Sent back. No point getting a replacement, if it broke that quick the replacement will also fail quickly.

I liked the challenge of making this model after recently completing the Meccano Ferrari Formula 1 car. I had to I I Modify the lifting arm to correspond with the picture on the box since the instruction book told me differently. On the lifting arm too much was expected of a two axles with only a small plastic collars to hold in position and I had to find in my spare nuts and bolts in my workshop suitable more substantial replacements for these. The hydraulics are too weak to be that effective without shooting the very lightweight plastic pipes off the nipples. However I am proud of the finished models it is 60 years since I played with Meccano uprated from Number 5 too Number 7.

Superbe meccano, reçu en temps et en heure. De très bonne qualité, prix conséquent mais le vaut par le nombre de pièce et l aspect collector et minutieux. Vous y passerez du temps et de bons moments. Attention si vous êtes impatient !!

My 5 year old son loved this! My husband put it together for him (my son helped a smidge). It looks great, works well, and is fun to play with. Great customer service as well.

Aunque este set tiene muchas partes de plástico, el proceso de armado es muy entretenido y el modelo en sí vale mucho la pena.
