The surface for which these lid holders are going to be attached to need to be very smooth and cleaned well before placement. Without those two conditions being met there is a good chance that these will fall off. I had them on the backside of a cabinet door and they held up good for a couple of weeks before they both fell off. If they were on a stationary surface that probably would have helped. Overall, it's not terrible to put them back on, but if I can find another spot for them it would probably work better. The concept is great and these hooks have the capacity to hold large lids depending on how the hooks are angled, I just need to find a better spot.

Sadly these dogs hold a lot of weight. I'm not a huge fan of items that have to be suctioned to the wall instead of stock or nailed. The suction just never holds very well and no matter how many times I try it never works. I don't know why I keep trying but I do because I hope that it'll work the way it says it's going to and it never does. These are neat. And would be great if they held a little more weight. It says for lids but they're just a little big for your average lid. I tried to hang them up in my utility closet but they fell right down with even just a little bit of weight on them which was frustrating.
