The Slingshot is a disc golf bag designed for simplicity and “the love of the game.” “I decided to design a disc golf bag because I wanted a bag tailored to the way I play, which is for FUN” (designer, Bill Gilbert). The Slingshot bag is designed to comfortably hold 3-6 discs (more if they are mostly drivers), a cell phone, wallet, keys, and a drink. It is also designed for ease of use. “I wanted to design a bag that would not interfere with my game. Most bags require you go through the process of removing your bag, unzipping a pocket, selecting a disc, throwing your disc, picking the bag up and putting it back on, picking up your disc, removing the bag, replacing the disc, etc…The bag becomes cumbersome. Before the Slingshot, I typically chose to carry only 3 or 4 discs and leave the bag behind.” With the Slingshot, selecting and throwing a disc can be accomplished in a fluid motion. “I can select a disc and throw it without ever needing to remove my bag...and I can do this simply, fluidly, with just one hand.” If you are looking for a disc golf bag that is designed to carry 20+ discs, and you are willing to lug this around in the hope that you are prepared for every possible lie, then the Slingshot is not for you. However, if you are a new player looking for a GREAT starter bag or a seasoned player looking for a lightweight, durable bag designed for “the love of the game,” then the Slingshot is the bag for you.

Lightweight and Durable Disc Golf Bag. Honestly one of my favorite things!
I love this bag. I bought this one as back up for my pervious one that has held up really great after two years of weekly play. I don't know if I'll ever need it, but for the price I figured I'd get a secondone. I hang a small stainless steel water bottle from a carabiner on one side and a twouch towel with bluetooth speaker on the other. 7 or 8 discs and a Gateway stash mini in the front pocket. Perfect sized phone pocket on the back and a zipper pocket in the middle for my car key. I added a $6 shoulder pad to it at some point but it's so light weight I don't really need it. If I'm bringing gloves or pencil/scorecard I'll just hook another small bag to the carabiner and good to go. Easy access to discs and you can tighten the strap to keep discs more secure. I've played hundreds of rounds with this bag and it is in great condition just dirty, but it cleans up well with some water and light detergent. I could honestly go on, but I will digress. If you are looking for a lightweight, durable, and versatile little disc golfing bag pick this thing up. No place for beers unless playing with only a few discs you can stick a Silver Bullet in the mesh pockets down the sides, or you can always have your buddy with the backpack/rolling cart carry the beers.

Wanted to like it...
This is a $35 bag that feels like a $15 bag. It’s cheaply made and doesn’t hold its shape at all. All of your discs will spill out when you set it on the ground unless you want to buckle and unbuckle the strap every time. Middle zip pocket is worthless and outer zip pocket is too small for phone & keys. The elastic netting on the outside will barely fit a plastic water bottle or towel, why is it even there? Also, the “watermelon” color that looks like a pale red is actually light pink. If you want a cheap bag, get one that’s actually cheaper.

Not as convenient as I thought
I really wanted to like the light weight bag but it's got me more flustered than happy to be honest. You can fit up 6 disc's in it easily however I find that when setting down the bag and picking it back up alot of times the discs fall out. The buckle isn't very sturdy and doesn't stay put very well. Doesn't fit a drink either :( I like the design and how small it is but I am returning and getting a backpack instead.

Solid Construction/Snug Fit
This is a solidly built bag that is good for carrying about six discs, plus a water bottle and keys/wallet/phone (depending on how big they are). It's not overly roomy, but the fact that everything fits snuggly is part of the point of carrying this bag. It fits well over the shoulder and is easy to adjust. I've only taken it out a couple of times so far, but it has worked very well.If you are a "serious" disc golfer, this would probably best serve as your back-up bag rather than your primary. However, for folks like myself who just get out a couple of times a month and want a convenient way to carry the basic stuff we need out on the course, this is a pretty good option.

Perfect for those who do not carry a lot of discs
So far I REALLY love this bag. I play disc golf with my fiance since his friends got him into it. I had a larger bag, but I realized I didn't need it because I play with 7-8 discs majority of the time: 3 putters, 2 sharks, (I think a leopard is in there) teebird, and thunderbird

For the person who doesn't need a suitcase full of discs.
Really just what I needed. Some of those bags are giant, and I honestly don't see the need for more than 6-8 discs at a time for myself. This cuts down on the bulk of the bag AND has a of storage for keys, sunblock, phone etc (though some of the pockets are smaller than I thought). It's easy to use, pockets are easily accessible, it has a water bottle pouch, and comes with a nice carabiner that looks decently quality.Unless you need a ton of discs I would get this. Cheaper than the nutsac as well.

Discs falling out. Ordered another bag
Checks all the boxes of how it was advertised. However They say nothing about security. I put 6 to u discs in it and They still want to call out. The adjustable clip doesnt stay at adjusted tightness so its always loose around discs.

Pretty good bag, but a little shy on design
Overall, I really like the bag and have used it extensively for a couple of months now. It is a tight fit for 8 discs which then makes it a stretch to also use the pockets. However, it looks great, is well-built and has some style. On the negative side, the design has one significant flaw. The round bottom makes it difficult to set down without rolling. When out on the course, you are constantly setting the bag down to throw and it is a real challenge when the bag rolls over on you. For this reason primarily, I would not recommend this bag to others. Also, it is priced significantly higher than other, more effective bags on the market. a rectangular-bottomed bag would be much more functional.
