Great! Modelones is a good brand
I am not a professional nail tech, however I do have nearly two decades of experience using gel on my own nails to maintain a gel overlay. These Modelones gel nail forms are great! The 11 different sizes are a good variety, and the thumb 0/1 sizes fit my nails. These forms will aid me in checking my regular rebalance to maintain a proper shape.I have used the ASP acrylic forms successfully and they are nice, but I don't care for the higher c-curve on those, nor the bump those forms have at the cuticle. I bought these Modelones gel forms because they have a more natural c-curve and no bump at the cuticle. They look like they will do exactly what I bought them for.The plastic is sturdy and I appreciate the length guides, though I won't need those because I keep my nails at 1/4" past my finger tip, the maximum allowed at my work. However, on rare occasions I will do a set of gel extensions on a friend or family member for a special event, and the length guides will be helpful in doing that.

I Love Modelones Nail Shape!!!!!
I absolutely love my new set of nails!!!! I am completely new to doing my nails & for my first time, they came out really good!!!! I used Morovan colors & the Modelones Plastic/Nail Forms because I like their traditional shape better. In addition to this, I bought Morovan's 12 Glitter polygel colors!! I love their variety!!!😍 The picture of my thumb was how the nail looked when I first took it out of the nail form. All I had to do was clip & file the sides & top of my nails after they dried. It was super easy to do!!!! It took me a few hours to do but I'm sure I'll get better over time. I didn't even need my Nail Drill be cause when I took it out of the form, it was already smooth. The thinner the nail, the better! It dries faster too! I'm definitely going to be hooked on doing this every 3-4 weeks!!! I also dried my nails under the UV Lamp on each side for 120 seconds with the nail form on top & 60 seconds without on each side. I then shaped them up with my nail file, painted both sides with my Beetles Top Coat Gel Polish, & Voila!!!! My nails look amazing!!!!! It's 2 thumbs up 👍 for me!!!!!! 😁😁😁

Good shape, but the sizes run small
I like that these have a slight curve to them as opposed to other dual forms I’ve tried, which are either poker-straight or much too curved.Mu thumb, index, and middle finger are on the flatter side, and these forms had a bit too strong of a C-curve to fit my nails comfortably. They’re still usable, I just had to go a size up and file the sidewalls down.I have pretty small nails, and my right and left thumb nails were a size 1 and 2, respectively. These forms do appear to run small, which appears to be a common issue with nail forms and press-ons.I found the removal to be quite difficult at times, but I think that depends on the curing time and the length of the gel extensions. Just make sure to cure for 60-90 seconds before trying to remove these if you’re doing longer nails. I had to make my extensions thicker than necessary so that the removal process wouldn’t cause the gel extension to split along the apex. that said, this was my first time doing polygel extensions, so this could absolutely just be due to user error.

Yay! LOVE these!
This is a comparison of these dual forms vs the ModelOnes dual forms that come with their polyel starter kit.So, the ModelOnes polygel starter kit comes with dual forms already, but they're more curved (both length-wise and across) than these ones here. These ones work better if you have flatter, less curved nails. I have a mixture of both, so I use some of these on some nails, and some of the dual forms that come with the kit on the rest. You gotta kinda mix-and-match.Another reason I like these ones better (than the ones that come in the kit) is that they have line markers for both straight and curved tips, and by that I mean that if you're planning on doing coffin nails, the forms from the starter kit are fine, but if you want to do round nails, you'll want to use these ones here. Also, the dual forms that come in the starter kit just come in a little plastic bag all jumbled together, instead of in a case. Super annoying. These ones here come in their own case and are separated by size. That's a definite plus. The trick to getting them off easily is to let the nails cool for a few seconds when you take them out of the lamp, then the forms will pop of easily. If you don't wait, you're gonna have to wrestle with them a bit, but waiting makes it MUCH easier to take them off. If you're having trouble with the forms, you can find dozens of tutorials on YouTube that will help you troubleshoot, or just google something like "common polygel mistakes" or "beginner polygel tips".All in all, these are really nice dual forms and they work great, and I don't regret spending the money on them at all. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Fit
I love these dual forms or as I call them "popums". The variety of sizes in the box makes it easy to find your perfect fit. Also, I've tried other brands that were just too flimsy and seemed to always get gunked up in my gel. These Modelones though are very re-usable. They are very sturdy but not stuff so, I clean them with alcohol and re--use them a few times. They are a great buy
