Disc was not working properly
Disc provided the video only... background music work but no voice & dialogue output...i am unsatisfied...

go for buy...for blu ray quality...not for movie
blu ray quality is good....movie actors perofrmed brilliant..but movie is just ok..not expect much from this movie

Good film but effects haven’t aged well
This is a decent film which I’ve seen a few times. It’s not as scary as I remember, but still creepy in places. Yes you do have to take certain plot points with a pinch of salt but it’s not too bad.The film is generally well acted and the environment in and around the farmhouse looks and sounds great on a home cinema setup. You can almost smell the fresh air. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the special effects, which sadly have gone a bit stale with the passage of time and don’t hold up well under the Blu-ray microscope. There is a scene with a dog which is clearly green screened - I never noticed this before on DVD and TV. And the aliens themselves, which I don’t believe were particularly impressive even at the time, have certainly not aged well. Thankfully their time on screen in minimal.I don’t think this is quite a classic of the genre but I do like it. There are some genuinely humourous moments to offset the sentimentality.Worth a rental at least in my opinion.

One of my fav
Mel Gibson Movies plus the future Joker isn`t over shadowed and holds your attention. One of the few film where the kids don`t spoil the film with being too perfect. Both kids deliver some brilliant lines.. Better than 6th Sense in my mind.

Some people hate it. I love it
This is a film that's become popular to hate these days, especially on the internet and while I think it probably does have one or two flaws, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. It has some great atmosphere, tense moments, a great score and it creates a dark tone, which I love. The blu-ray transfer is really good as it has some great picture quality. I would give the film an 9/10.
