Koss Porta Pro I Prolite Wired On Ear Headphone without Mic (Black)

Audio quality is really good even though the pair first came out in the 80s. A bit bass heavy so people who are into hiphop or other genres with emphasis on the lower frequencies would totally love this pair. Although there are some "iems" that are cheaper and offer a better sound quality theres one thing the porta pros have that they dont, and thats peak 80s looks. The headphones themselves are so comfortable you WILL forget that they are even on. Cons: Audio will leak while listening in higher volume levels as they are open back headphones (listening in and around 65%-70% seems like a sweet spot where audio is clear and also very minimal leaks) As they are open back, not quite suitable for listening to inside a bus or say public as sound leaks both outside and also comes inside. Really good pair for listening to indoors could even compete with well known headphones audiophiles love that are way more expensive than this pair. 10/10

Really cool headphones, doesn't have any mic or play paise button, the blue plastic is a little bit faded than the one in the image. But because of the sound and the comfortness it's worth every penny, definitely would recommend to the audiophiles

Really quality product with respect to sound. I have Sennheiser PX-80, and used it for last 3 years - i can certainly say this sounds better that that. Amazing clarity, performance. Bass heads may not like much, but i prefer clarity over just bass boost. I got it for 3,490...Now I see it is nearly double, then think again. You can go for Sennheiser HD599 SE instead.

I love my koss headphones, they have a vintage feel to them. Great for when you want to take a break from bluetooth earphones or headphones. The music quality is not the best. There is a lot of sound spillage since the ear pads are very tiny but either ways great for regular use.

On first hearing The balancing is perfect . I have read a lot of guides on these cans, and its universally saying these need a comprehensive breaking in. I will be updating this review as the headphone gets broken in. Update 1: After about 15 hours of playing different genres, the sound stage has opened up tremendously and feels really wide. All ranges are clearing up and clarity is rising fast. Bass is snappy and crisp. Advice: Try different genres in the first few hours it might serve to open all the ranges well. Try a headphone burn in track from YouTube.

It stands up to the expectations of being comfortable. It seems fragile but it is durable as well. The one is recieved is with mic, when I order without mic so thats a plus.

A great product that is still going strong. Easy to drive and good comfort.

Acheté ce casque pour les commentaires élogieux et le prix (44.34 €). Pas déçu : le son est vraiment très bien et à mon goût. C'est vraiment stupéfiant vu le prix ! Les médiums et aiguës sont au top, les basses un peu moins mais ce qui m'a frappé le plus, c'est la dynamique de ce casque. Un plaisir à redécouvrir mes morceaux de musique. Bon après, il fait vraiment fragile et il doit l'être. Le format vintage ne me plaît pas beaucoup et les arceaux ont tendances à coincer les cheveux, de plus il faut les ajuster à chaque fois. En contrepartie, il est très léger et agréable à porter. J'espère qu'il tiendra le coup dans le temps..

Al principio había dudado en comprarlos, pero, realmente me dejaron sorprendido. Soy alguien que gusta de la eficiencia en las cosas y sobre todo de la portabilidad, ya que, suelo hacer largos trayectos casi a diario y el escuchar música es algo que disfruto bastante. Como sonido de referencia, tengo a los ATH m50x y los Grado SR80; que según mi experiencia son de los mejores audífonos en calidad y precio. Por lo que estaba buscando un sonido que se les pareciese o les fuera competitivo en unos audífonos lo mas portables posible. Los Koss Porta Pro cumplieron este capricho; y aunque no los supera, tampoco se quedan atrás. Tengo ya casi un año con ellos y funcionan como el primer día, es por ello que son de mis favoritos para el uso diario. A continuación comparto algunos pros y contras según mi experiencia: PROS - El sonido es excelente: es balanceado y detallado para el tipo de audífono y el precio - Son muy fáciles de transportar - Aunque los materiales se ven "desechables", son de muy buena calidad - Son muy ligeros y a veces pareciese que no los traes puestos. - Tiene un ajuste para que la presión no sea directamente en los oídos (uso lentes y esta característica hace que no me lastimen) - Incluyen una funda para transportarlos. CONTRAS - Se suelen enredar con facilidad y desacomodarse dentro de la funda. - Al ajustarlos a veces se enredan con el cabello o el "fit" es difícil de conseguir (con la costumbre esto mejora) - Al ser audífonos abiertos, no tienen mucha reducción del ruido y se escapa el sonido de lo que estés escuchando. - El sonido es balanceado, por lo que los bajos no tienen mucho "punch" (para quien guste de los bajos exagerados)
