I would actually recommend going half size smaller instead of the recommended full size smaller. If you ordered a full size smaller and have wider feet, you may start to feel some pain and discomfort around the bridge and ball of your feet after 8+ hours of wear..Pros:- Looks good and classy.- Fits very snugly per recommendation in the item description.- ComfortableCons:- Strong chemical smell (like gasoline or diesel)- Can be a bit painful if wearing for extended period of time (8+ hours)

I brought these boots for my husband and he loves them! He is a teacher so he is on his feet often throughout the day. He hasn't complained about the comfort or any lack of support. This is a great addition to his closet because it goes with a lot of items. He can wear it with slacks, khakis or jeans. A nice versatile footwear plus is affordable.

My husband bought these and wears them for work. They look very sharp and are good quality considering he bought them in August and has worn them every week to work and they still look like new.

Garbage from China. Extremely uncomfortable. Smelling like chemical lab. Just really really bad stuff..... DO NOT BUY - it will be disappointing!!!

Updated review after only 15 days of use:These shoes seemed great but the rubber on the sole is very hard and brittle, whatever glue they used to hold them together simply failed to do its job in holding heel platform onto the main sole. Sole is cracked immediately under heel and heel platform just started peeling off. Really upset because these shoes are very stylish and comfortable. Leather also is very supple and holds up very well occasional scuffs and scrapes.Original day one review:For what it's worth, 50 bucks, these boots are just incredible.They look and fit great, have a great looking and comfortable sole and all in all, for what I paid, it's simply much better than some 120 dollar Chelsea boots from name brands. Believe me, I've tried a total of 8 different models of these boots before sticking with this one. I'm just a little too picky. Thank you Amazon for such great variety.Speaking about other models, one of the other boots I tried had one of those rubber hollow heels that are specifically designed to force you to throw what appears to be a perfectly looking shoe in the trash as the back of the heel platform wears out and comes undone eventually with very little use. It's happened to both me and my wife in the past. This particular boot by Luciano D has a very solid heel platform and out of the 8 models I tested, definitely has the best combo of sole / heel out of them all.As others mentioned they run one size bigger than your normal shoe size. I ordered one on my size, then another half size smaller (still too big) and another one full size smaller (the one I kept). So keep that in mind before ordering.And of course, as others mentioned as well, there's a very strong hickory / gasoline like chemical scent which I'm not sure if it's the leather or the rubber soles or both. Regardless, it's no worse than the jet fuel scent / fumes that I get to smell everyday on the job (I'm an airline pilot).That's it!Looking forward to wearing them as my main work shoes starting tomorrow. I'll update my review after a few months.
